Love Aiper products!
I’ve been really impressed with the Aiper S2. It’s cordless, super easy to use, and does a great job picking up dirt and debris from the bottom of the pool. I love that I can just drop it in, let it do its thing, and not have to deal with hoses or dragging out a vacuum. The battery lasts long enough to clean the whole pool, and the filter basket is easy to rinse out when it’s done. Overall, it’s made pool maintenance a lot simpler and saved me a ton of time. Definitely a great investment if you want something that works without a lot of hassle. Also, we had a great customer service experience when our machine broke down and we had to utilize the warranty. Definitely a well spent purchase!

A must buy for every pool owner!
We have had our Aiper for awhile now and my husband and I both wish we would have purchased it sooner. It truly is a time-saving and simple to use device. Simply stick it in the pool, and it does its job! It works ALL day and ALL night using solar power to charge its battery. We remove and dump the basket weekly, but more often in the fall. It catches SO many leaves! Our pool sits somewhat under a tree so we used to have a lot of leaves that would get to the bottom of the pool. Now, it’s RARE that we find any leaves at the bottom of the pool. I’m so happy that we found this device! It keeps our pool looking gorgeous with pretty much little to no effort at all. My only regret was not purchasing this sooner! Some more things I love: frequent updates to keep it running smoothly, easy to use app, easy to remove and not too heavy, AMAZING customer service.

Outstanding Pool Cleaner – Reliable, Powerful, and Easy to Use
We’ve been using the Aiper Surfer S2 for several months now, and it has completely changed how we maintain our pool. From the first use, it was clear this was a well-designed, high-quality product. Performance: The cleaning power is excellent. It consistently removes leaves, dirt, pollen, and fine debris, keeping the water clear with minimal effort on our part. It handles both large debris and smaller particles very well, and it rarely misses spots. Ease of Use: Setup was quick and straightforward. Once it’s in the pool, it runs smoothly and independently—no complicated controls or constant monitoring required. It’s truly “set it and forget it.” Build Quality & Design: The unit feels solid and well-made. It’s sturdy, durable, and clearly built to last. The filter basket is easy to remove and clean, which makes regular maintenance simple and fast. Battery & Efficiency: Battery life has been more than sufficient for full cleaning cycles. It finishes its job without needing frequent recharging, which is a big plus. Customer Support: Aiper’s customer service has been excellent—responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They clearly stand behind their products and care about customer satisfaction. Overall Impression: The Surfer S2 has saved us countless hours of manual cleaning and has made pool maintenance stress-free. It delivers consistent results and performs exactly as advertised. If you’re looking for a dependable, efficient, and easy-to-use pool cleaner, I highly recommend this one. It’s been a great investment for us, and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

Outstanding customer service
Update 9/21/25 the more i use the surfer S2 skimmer, the more I realized my first review was a little too early to really understand the whole functionality is this item. As stated in my last update, I learned how to use the remote control which works really well for me. Also, because it has a really good solar panel, its always charged (in fact, I only charged it with the plug in charger the first time I opened the skimmer. there is no need to charge it again as the solar panel keeps it charged all the time), then I can leave it on my pool for hours chasing the the few leaves that i have and eventually will pick them up. Emptying and cleaning the debris basket is also very easy and only takes me a couple of minutes. however, since i don't have many leaves, I don't really need to clean it every time I use it. Because I feel now more comfortable using it and its functionally now meets my expectations plus their customer service is really second to none, I've decided to finally upgrade my review to 5 stars to better reflect my experience with the Surfer S2 Update: 9/12/25 I wanted to update my original review as I have had now more experience with this product. First, as a mentioned in my original, I only have a few leaves a day on my pool, therefore as the Aiper skimmer navigates around the pool, it may take a while before it picks up the leaves as they are scattered troughout the pool, however I learned that there is a remote control function where you can direct the skimmer towards the leaves or any floating debris. I've been using this way and I can pick up the leaves in no time. I'm glad that the Aiper team thought of this functionality as this works much better for my particular situation. Second, the minute that the Aiper customer service team found out that I was having issues with my new equipment, the contacted me and offered several solutions to solve my issues. This team has gone above and beyond (very rare today) to keep me a happy customer and they have even offered and sent me their Scuba X1 cordless robotic pool cleaner for me to try it. Had I suspected the Aiper customer service was so responsive, I would have contacted them when I had issues with the equipment rather than just leaving a poor review. My bad!!! I can't wait to try the Scuba X1 and I will be giving an unbiased review. Maybe i will be able to finally get rid of having a hose floating on my pool constantly (as is the case with my navigator pool cleaner) Again, kudos for the Aiper customer team and you just won me as a customer for life!! Even though I upgraded my review from 2 stars to 4 stars, I give their customer service 5 stars. I really wanted to like this but after two weeks I'm really disappointed. I don't get a lot of leaves in my pool, normally about 15 leaves a day or so but I wanted this equipment so the leaves don't fall to the bottom and had to be picked up by my navigator floor cleaner since my skimmer doesn't always pick up everything. Unfortunately this thing kind of floats aimlessly with not much logic on how it moves around. It sort of feels lost in the pool. it moves and cleans very slowly. The instructions says to leave it on for at least 3.5 hrs for best cleaning results. I leave it for 8 -10 hrs (after I take out my navigator and hose, so it doesn't get tangled with it) and I'm lucky if it picks up 5 or 6 leaves. I've been watching while it cleans and most of the times it does a great job avoiding running into the leaves floating around. as it moves straight to 1 or 2 leaves floating around, it changes course and avoids the leaves or stops altogether and turns to the left, to the right or turns around 180 and misses the debris. Again, no logic how it moves around. the ad says it does targeted cleaning around the edge of the pool. In two weeks it hasn't pick up single leave around the edges of the pool, actually I had to pick them up with the pool net I was going to buy the Aiper Scuba X1 floor cleaner to get rid of the hose always floating in my pool, but after this experience, I'm definitely keeping my Navigator which I've had for years and does a great job cleaning the floor. I guess it may work better if your pool has a lot of leaves floating and maybe it has a better chance to run into many leaves and pick them up, but if you want it to just pick up a few leaves a day, its not worth the investment. In all honesty, my in ground skimmer does a better job picking up daily leaves than this equipment. Just yesterday, my pool have roughly about 20 leaves, my skimmer pick up 12 and the Aiper pick up 4 and this was after 6 hrs of use.

The AIPER Surfer S2 arrived in a well-packaged box, and I was immediately impressed by its sleek, futuristic design. The solar panel on top is a standout feature, emphasizing its eco-friendly appeal. The build quality feels sturdy, and the compact size makes it easy to handle. Setup was straightforward, with clear instructions and minimal assembly required. Setting up the AIPER Surfer S2 was a breeze. Simply charge it via USB for the first use, place it in the pool, and let the solar panel do the rest. The app guides you through the initial setup and pairing process. Once in the water, the skimmer gets to work immediately. It moves quietly and efficiently, covering the entire pool surface without missing spots. The smart navigation system ensures it avoids obstacles, and the app provides real-time updates on cleaning progress. Emptying the debris basket is quick and easy. The basket is large enough to hold a significant amount of debris, reducing the frequency of cleaning. The skimmer is made from high-quality, UV-resistant materials that withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight and pool chemicals. After weeks of use, it shows no signs of wear or damage. The solar panel remains efficient, and the internal battery holds a charge well. Minor Drawbacks: 1. While the solar panel is a great feature, it’s less effective on cloudy or rainy days, requiring more frequent USB charging. 2. The skimmer doesn’t handle debris at the bottom of the pool, so you’ll still need a separate pool vacuum for thorough cleaning. 3. Occasionally, the app loses connection with the skimmer, requiring a restart to The AIPER Surfer S2 Solar Pool Skimmer is a fantastic investment for pool owners who want to keep their water clean with minimal effort. Its solar-powered operation, smart navigation, and app support make it a standout choice for modern, eco-conscious households. While it’s not without its flaws (solar dependency and surface-only cleaning), its efficiency and convenience more than make up for them. Skip If: - You need a skimmer that also cleans the bottom of the pool. - You live in an area with limited sunlight and prefer a non-solar option. Pro Tip: Use the skimmer in conjunction with a pool vacuum for a spotless pool from top to bottom. Schedule cleaning sessions via the app to ensure your pool is always ready for a swim!

This thing keeps my pool so clean with barely any effort. It runs quietly, charges on its own, and the app support makes it easy to monitor. I didn’t expect to love it this much, but I do.

I’ve only ever used another brand of premium pool cleaning robots, but am pleasantly impressed with the quality of this unit. It’s very light and works very well even in tight spaces. The unit is very easy to clean and I am very happy with the Aiper brand. The app was easy to setup and we have had no issues with this unit so far. Very good value for the price.

For a pool skimmer the Aiper Surfer S2 is a great choice. Like all Aiper products, the S2 is built like a tank - choice materials, easy maintenance and super easy reusable filters make the S2 and ideal choice. The rechargeable battery is juiced by included cord or the solar panels. Note that the solar panels are just that - only effective when sunlight is out. SO if you are in an area where sunlight isn't a constant factor, don't get too mad at the S2. It still provides ample juice for most cleaning sessions and you have a charger that quickly tops it up after every use. The S2 is very good in skimming the entire surface while avoiding obstacles. It's fairly quiet and gives you a thorough surface clean. The filter is easily removed for cleaning so that you can reuse it countless times! The app is a great as well since it provides you with programming so that you can schedule the cleans. It also tells you when the charge is low so that you can service it via corded charger. Overall, a really nice skimmer that provides ample cleaning ability! Aiper does it again!

Pros: Solar power is efficient to operate, love that it charges during the day and keeps going. I hardly ever need to plug it in. It’s always out there skimming, so my pool surface stays way cleaner with way less effort. App support is handy for checking battery or controlling it without fishing it out. Doesn’t get stuck on steps or floaties in the pool. If it’s cloudy for a few days, I can just plug it in overnight which is really convenient. It operates quietly, I can barely notice it working, but the results are good. I have a freeform inground pool and it handles the curves just fine. It is easy to empty the debris tray and clean the filter. Cons: It moves slowly, It gets the job done but requires more time than a conventional pool cleaner. App is pretty basic although it works fine, but not super advanced or polished. Debris can blow past it if there's a lot of wind before it gets there. Pricey for a skimmer and it doesn't clean the pool floor or walls.
