Quality paste with very noticeable temperature drops
I applied this to my GPU (dual fan RX 7700 XT) and it worked very well. The dual fan setup left a lot to be desired but I was able to do a moderate overclock and undervolt while getting lower temperatures than factory.It's not the easiest to apply but with the provided tools it's honestly not bad. I highly recommend this product if you want a quality paste with measurable temperature decreases.

great quality paste to cool PC
just replaced cpu and gpu pastes. went form KPX back to TG. only had KPX a year on a 5900x before temps got higher than usual and was getting random restarts. pump out effect was bad and had a dried hotspot on CPU. its the best in the TG line for performance and durability. i last used hydronaut and it lasted 3yrs before i upgraded CPU and tried KPX. easy install like most pastes, only issue is price but you get what you pay for and this will last into my next platform upgrade- go big or go home

Good Paste!
I have never paid much mind to my thermal paste until my last PC build. I noticed my standard stuff was not really cutting it. When I ordered my 9800X3D CPU I watched some videos and found out about this stuff. As I did not want to try the "sheets" it seemed the best bang for the buck. When applying it I noticed it is way thicker than my normal stuff and it was a bit more difficult to apply but once I got the hang of it I did not have any serious issues. My new builds run great with an aircooler the 9800X3d runs around 60c while gaming. I will be switching to this stuff for all future builds.

A little finnicky to spread but a great thermal paste
I have bought thermal grizzly's PTM7950 (PhaseSheet I think they call it) in the past for repasting GPUs. While I did like the product, I decided to give Duronaut a go mainly because it was a fair bit cheaper considering the amount of coverage you get. That and my tube of MX4 from gods knows how long ago was starting to separate and I needed a standby thermal paste.The Duronaut is far thicker than standard thermal paste that most people are used to. Really quite thick; I would estimate kind of peanut butter thickness (though I hardly know since I don't like peanuts). There's a bit of a learning curve to spreading the thermal compound over a die. Thermal grizzly have a video on youtube on how to spread it that had some good advice in that regard. If you try to spread it too fast it tends to detach from the die or create patchy coverage. You kind of have to apply what looks like a lot more thermal paste than necessary to spread it out. I found the special spatula they give you helps a lot in controlling the spreading, and you have to go pretty slow.I used this thermal paste to repaste my GPU--which had concerning hotspot temperatures--and a friend's laptop which sorely needed repasting. I've been running the repaste on my GPU for a couple of weeks now and it's holding up great with no signs of rapid deterioration or temps increasing.

Highly effective for high-core CPUs
Thermal Grizzly Duronaut was easy to apply on my Ryzen 9 9900X using the included spatula. I spread a thin, even layer - not transparent, but controlled - and it behaved exactly as expected. During installation I had a moment where the AIO block made contact and lifted straight off due to a mounting alignment issue, but the paste held up perfectly and didn’t affect performance at all.Across all of my testing, including sustained AVX workloads, the CPU stayed cool and stable and held around 62 °C. In real‑world workloads like photo & video upscaling, batch video encodes and large software builds, I typically see temperatures in the mid to high 60s and occasional spikes into the 70s, which is completely normal for the 9900X and still well within comfortable thermal limitsI've also observed idle temperatures as low as 35c, but they usually sit between 36-39c (41-44c during the summer months).Duronaut clearly provides excellent thermal transfer and consistency under both synthetic and real‑world workloads.

Great Thermal Paste for Enthusiasts – Solid Temps and Long-Lasting Performance
I’ve used several thermal pastes over the years, and the Thermal Grizzly Duronaut definitely performs at the top of the pack. After applying it to my i9-based gaming PC, I noticed CPU temps dropped by about 2–3 °C under heavy load compared to my previous paste (MX-6). It’s non-conductive, spreads cleanly once it warms up, and seems to hold temps steady even after long gaming or rendering sessions.The 6-gram tube gives you plenty of paste for multiple builds, which makes it a good long-term buy. My only complaint is that it’s a little thicker than expected — not the easiest to spread evenly unless you warm it slightly or use a spreader. Also, while the performance is excellent, the difference might be small if you’re not pushing your system hard.Overall, this is a great choice for enthusiasts or anyone who wants high-end, reliable thermal performance. It’s a bit pricey, but you really do get the quality and consistency Thermal Grizzly is known for.

I have used a lot of different thermal paste over the years, some good, some bad. This I used this on my new build with an arctic freezer 360 aio with a ryzen 7 9800x3d, the temps are great.

This stuff is no joke
This stuff work and outperforms other thermal pastes. The amount you get is worth the price because the 6g is basically 3.34 per gram and there is a lot of it to last me for the next 4 yrs. The claim that it drops cpu temps is no smoke but all reality. I use air cooling and was getting 28C to 30C per core and around 50-55C total temp on my Ryzen 9 7900x with Corsair TM30 Performance Thermal Paste. With this stuff.....This stuff I am now getting 22C - 24C per core and getting 44-50C. This stuff blows my mind on how good it is and I didn't change my heatsink which is a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Cooler, 6 Heat Pipes AGHP Technology, Dual 120mm PWM Fans. Same cooler and I get a 6 degree drop and when I game it barely breaks maybe 55C total temp and 28-34C per core. So yeah it's 20 bucks but its 20 bucks that worth spending.

First Impressions = Very Good
As someone that has used Kryonaut for more years than I can actually remember, I wanted to try Duronaut out when I became aware of its existence. I did email Thermal Grizzly prior to buying to make sure that it was at least as effective as Kryonaut was (no point going backwards!) & was told that it is basically an improved version of Kryonaut but was given a different name as some people may prefer the consistency etc of Kryonaut.Performance-wise on an overclocked Intel i9 13900K cooled by an Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 360mm cooler (with Noctua NF-F12 Chromax fans & anti-vibration gaskets instead of supplied fans), the peak temperature was the same as Kryonaut after an hour of Cinebench multicore runs to ‘bed in’ the paste. There was no thermal throttling even being overclocked nor increase in fan speed than with Kryonaut.Application is a little easier as Duronaut is slightly thinner in consistency compared to the Kryonaut I have left to hand. Was easy to spread across the IHS with the supplied spatula.Value for money is also better than Kryonaut as it is a little cheaper gram for gram.The only thing I would like to see different is for the syringe to have what paste is inside it labelled on the outside as the syringe I got only had the Thermal Grizzly branding. This isn’t really a problem as I keep the syringe & applicators together in the outer packaging, but if you just put the tube in a drawer with other TG pastes, it could be easy to mix up which is which.Cannot give a long term use review as not had it for that long but for now it is performing as I would expect a TG product to.I wouldn’t use it for repasting GPU cores personally & the guy at Thermal Grizzly I communicated with via email also said the same. For GPU cores there are better products such as the sheet style TIMs.Would I rebuy Duronaut? Only time will tell but I do have high hopes for it going on what others I trust in the industry tell me.

Un peu chère mais ultra efficace sur des processeurs haut de gamme, il faut mettre du haut de gamme, surtout quand ce n'est pas que du marketing. Ca conduit extrêmement bien la chaleur aux valeurs indiquées par le fabricant.

Gpu you settled down on 68⁰ under heavy load, before applying this paste it hitting 81⁰. Duronaut is good.

High-End Paste mit kleinem Trick beim Auftragen!
Für mein neues System kam nur die Duronaut von Thermal Grizzly infrage. Die Leistung ist überragend, wenn man weiß, wie man mit ihr umgehen muss.Qualität & Leistung: Die Qualität ist 1a. Die Wärmeleitfähigkeit ist spürbar besser als bei Standard-Pasten. Wer maximale Leistung für CPU oder GPU sucht, ist hier genau richtig.Wichtiger Tipp zum Auftragen: Die Paste ist sehr zäh und daher ein bisschen schwer aufzutragen. Mein Trick: Die Tube vorher für ca. 10 Minuten in die Hosentasche stecken und durch die Körperwärme leicht anwärmen. Danach lässt sie sich deutlich geschmeidiger verteilen!Performance-Tipp: Nach der Installation empfehle ich, das System etwa eine Stunde lang in einem Stress-Test laufen zu lassen. Durch die Hitze „brennt“ sich die Paste quasi ein – sie setzt sich dadurch noch einmal richtig und entfaltet dann ihre volle Kühlleistung.Fazit: Ein Muss für Enthusiasten. Ein bisschen Fingerspitzengefühl beim Auftragen ist nötig, aber die Temperaturen danken es einem sofort!
