I’m an avid plant person, I have over 100 tropical houseplants. This soil is my go-to! I can’t buy it locally, so I really appreciate being able to order it. When I switched to fox’s farm I noticed a huge change in my plants’ growth because the quality of this soil is just so much better than what I was buying from big box stores. If you’re an avid plant person or just starting out, this soil will support your tropical plants! Well worth paying a little extra in my opinion!

Great performing soil !!! I needed quality soil with high quality ingredients sort of speak to grow some popular trees from basically sticks from the tree itself. Grabbed a couple bags of the soil on Amazon and first put the sticks I water for about 2 weeks until they started sprouting roots. Then transferred them to pots with this soil, with in another 2 weeks I transferred them to the ground with the same soil . It's been about 6 weeks in the ground without watering and they are already sprouting stems and leaves. Measuring about a foot in height in such a Short period of time. I truly believe if it wasn't for this soil they would have not survived from the lack of water that I forgot to give them, make sure to check your pH needs for whatever you want to grow before you buy . This company has what you need to do it .... very pleased with the product

I’ve had great results with this soil. My success came with a little visitor (some type of white and fuzzy mold or fungi). It was there before I opened it and it didn’t smell bad so I scraped the top few layers of soil and tossed it just in case they weren’t friendly visitors and then I continued repotting a few plants.

Superb. I have a garden in a dozen or so grow bags from 10-20 gallons and they are thriving with this soil. I add a few more things (i.e. compost, supplements, etc.) to give them a boost, however, if you use this for a ground garden you should be good to go with just this soil.Truthfully, I've neglected my garden this summer because it feels like we've entered a portal to hell and yet many of my plants are still flourishing.

I use the Ocean Forest soil and the liquid nutrients on inside and outside grows. The quality of their products are top notch and makes the initial planting and feeding schedule less stressful. I have ordered multiple times and ever had only one issue (Was not Fox Farm's fault. looked like UPS kicked the box from their store to my door). Still they were awesome to deal with, in fact they wanted to resend the entire order of soil. The order was 4 bags and only one was damaged, so I had to decline a full resend. Still great company, great people, great product.

This was good soil, but it’s a little pricey for me as far as how much I needed. I found better soil for cheaper elsewhere.

I didn't read the size right (my bad) so I was a little surprised - this is a big heavy bag of dirt. But it's quality dirt and we were able to repot several plants.

used this for the bottom half of your pot and put happy frog on top when you just transition to veg mode. after your plant is an adult then use this fully. GREAT STUFF! never had any issue with my Mary jane using this soil.
