The Really Right Stuff TVC-24 MK2 Versa Series 2 Tripod is a lightweight, mid-range carbon fiber tripod designed to be used on-site as well as in the studio. The TVC is made from Really Right Stuff patented carbon fiber, it weighs only 1.51kg and can hold up to 18,14kg securely. The 4-section design extends to a maximum height of 125 cm and lowers to a minimum working height of only 8.6 cm. Adjusting the tripod to height and lowering is easy with simple to use rotating locks that only require a quarter turn to unlock and lock each leg section. This design also helps to maintain the slim folded figure of the tripod. In addition, when travelling with or storing the tripod, the whole stand can fold down to just 19" long, small enough to be used on vacation or hiking. Each leg is attached to the tripod collar by an offset leg joint that helps evenly distribute heavy loads and maintain tripod stiffness. The seals and collar themselves are constructed from lightweight anodised aluminium, which, apart from the tripod strength, gives it natural resistance to wear and corrosion. Each of the three leg joints also features a ratchet angled stop that locks automatically when the legs are folded down in a "standard" position. The TVC-24's legs are uniquely shaped like a drop of water, preventing leg sections from touching the floor, even at the lowest levels and at the most unusual angles.
