Came in airtight sealed packaging, even nicely folded into a square with a cute bow tied around it lol Immediately upon opening the airtight plastic bag it started fluffing up! I was happy to see that as I definitely wanted a fluffy, good quality duvet (I have always had down filled duvets and loooved how fluffy and cozy they are but needed to upgrade the size since I now have a king bed and had been using my queen sized down filled duvet while searching for a nice bigger replacement— definitely was fed up with the tug of war my partner and I were having with using too small of a comforter on this king sized bed!) So having only ever been lucky enough to have had those nice FLUUUUFFFY down filled EXPENSIVE duvets, usually gifted or otherwise because I don’t know how I could drop sooo much money on something like that, especially when now I had been searching all over for something affordable without sacrificing the same comfy fluffy blanket I love I was hesitant about a down alternative but they are definitely more affordable so I started looking at the various options here on Amazon (even looking at Target online too etc) and it was so hard to decide (or even know what to look for like without knowing what it will feel like or be like before buying) but eventually I landed in this one RIGHT as I was about to make my purchase of a different duvet I’d found here on Amazon, I think I was just looking around one last time comparing prices and details, etc etc and of course reading endless reviews, and this one caught my eye with the excellent ratings and descriptions it seemed like exactly what I was hoping to find without selling a kidney :) I opened it up and pulled it out of the bag completely and as mentioned it started looking so puffy and comfy already!! I unfolded it to put in the dryer (on air fluff setting without heat) to see if that would expedite the whole process to get it nice and ready to place on my bed. And while it’s relatively light weight I think it absolutely is a true all season duvet as it’s got a good weight to it, meaning it doesn’t feel flimsy or too light or cheap, etc, and it’s sooo soft to the touch, and so far soft to the squish! Lol I can tell it’s going to be really comfortable already— even though it still has lots of fluffing up to do! Excited to see how this goes as far as once I’ve got it all nice and made on my bed and get a chance to sleep with it (will update my review later since I just got this today! But wanted to review as it already is exceeding my expectations!)

I like to sleep in comfort. To that end, I started by buying a thick pillowtop mattress. I also got a heated mattress pad. (Do you suffer from cold feet that take forever to get warm in bed? Go get a heated mattress pad. Now. You'll wonder how you ever slept well without it.) I get nice fluffy but supportive pillows. I found amazing sheets (for a pretty penny) that make you feel like you're sliding into some commercial for a milk and honey based product. The only thing disturbing my comfort was my comforter. It was old and the once fluffy filling had compacted. Now that it's getting colder, I was piling on extra blankets to stay warm and cranking up the mattress pad, which meant I was trapped under 100 lbs of bedding that made it difficult to roll over and impossible to cool down once you got overheated. Enter this comforter. Duvet? Remember that milk and honey commercial? Now there's clouds. Perfectly plump and fluffy and warm. So warm I haven't had to turn my mattress heater up past 2, and I've been keeping the house around 55-60 at night. Now you may be thinking, that sounds too warm, you'll still overheat! Yes it can get too warm, but the delight of having a light and airy comforter like this is there is no effort to shift a foot so it's sticking off the bed slightly and immediately regulating your temperature back down.Anecdotal evidence of fluffy comfort is great and all, but I'm also a big fan of logical data. I happen to have a fitbit that tracks my sleep patterns. Previously, I've been lucky to get an hour of deep sleep a night. Just barely at the bottom range of the benchmark values for good sleep. Since using this comforter, I've seen between a 50% to 100% increase in the amount of deep sleep I've been getting.My girls also give this comforter the stamp of approval. If I forget to close my door during the day, one will sneak in to bed early even! Check out that picture with them laying on it. Do you see how deep they sink in? That's the fluff. 10/10 fluffiness!

Simply Amazing! Super soft, fluffy, and light weight!

I looked at a lot of inserts before buying this one. I went back and forth between this one, and another that had great reviews, but was about 50$. My main focus on an inert was the fluff. I just want a fluffy bed. My husband is a hot sleeper, so I need something that isn’t too heavy. I feel like this one is a good medium. He still gets a little hot, but it’s nothing the fan won’t fix. -I am always cold and this does keep me warm.The insert itself was packaged well, but there was a cut in the top of the plastic container it was in. - luckily no actual damage to the insert. It came vacuum sealed and fluffed up nice before I threw it in the dryer. The dryer did help. After I pulled it out on the dryer I laid it flat on the bed and fluffed each individual square to help poof it up. (I recommend doing this) I also did notice that some squares didn’t have as much filling as others, but I think it’ll be fine.However, my main issue with the duvet insert is that it’s smaller than I expected. The exact measurements of this insert for me is : ‎104"L x 86"W my duvet itself is 104”L x 90”W. I assumed the insert would be a normal king size. It’s not, it’s smaller in width. (Reason for 4 stars) That’s really my only problem. Since I already washed/dried it I assume I can’t return it. But it’s fine, it fits all my other needs. It is soft, and doesn’t feel itchy. You very well could use it as just a comforter. I feel the price is reasonable for what you get. I just wish it was bigger or the actual king size. If I could go back, I would buy it again. I’d just buy a size bigger knowing what I know now. Other than that, go ahead and buy it.*I included photos showing where the insert stops inside the actual duvet.

I love this comforter! When I get ready to buy another one it will definitely be this one in a different color, this gray one is beautiful too! Highly recommend for the price and quality too
