for the price, you really cant beat it. The blade was dirty, had to clean it, but everything else was fine.

I got this for my 10 year olds birthday. It’s for decor. He loves it as he’s a big anime fan. He think he’s Zoro (one piece) now. It’s not knife sharp, but it’s too sharp for kids to play with. Better for decor or cosplay costume accessory. It’s totally worth a buy.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A dull katana gif my Samurai obsessed child. It’s beautiful. So much nicer than I thought it would be for the price. I intend to have him just have it on display and I would needed it to be dull so many of the other dull ones are for anime and cartoonish. The blade comes out of the scabbard perfectly yes there’s oil and a few things on it but a quick wipe down made it perfect. The oil is there to protect the blade. I also ordered a cleaning kit so he can take care of it. I’m not sure how the stand will hold up, but just sitting on a shelf it will be fine. I intend on gluing it together so it does not move. Overall, I’m very excited for this and can’t wait for him to open it on Christmas morning. The details are fantastic and it’s perfect. the scabbard or cover, appears to be made of wood as the black outer coating is engraved to make the inscription. My only complaint would be the white on the handle, appears to be of a plastic material and that really takes away from the overall feel of the katana because the rest of it is so nice. However, I can 100% get over that because of the quality of rest.

This sword is of great quality with weight and is fuctional bu recommended for decoration and just for picture poses. It is capable of cutting when sharpen but since it is made of stainless steel it will break or chip when used in real battle against other objects or sword. Its not cheap feeling but also not durable in hard use. It is not made for battle. Good for new collectors.

Ok so this sword cut paper out the box, had to shine but I read everything and know you have to maintain the blade, one thing is there is no blood grove, so zombie comes might get stuck in him lol have to have one put on it, but all around this is awesome for person use or training, this is real and highly recommend for anyone that wants to get close and personal with a intruder. Must buy

The samurai sword looks great and has a nice design, but it’s more for display than practical use. The blade isn’t as sharp as I expected, and the overall weight feels a bit off for balance. The craftsmanship is decent. It’s an okay piece for decoration, but if you’re looking for something functional or higher quality, you might want to invest in a better option.

Very handsome & solid product. Purchased for my son who earned his black belt, he absolutely loves it. Well made very authentic looking for the price- sharp enough. Has some weight to it as well. Not designed for simulated play of course, but sturdy enough for action shot pictures. Nice display stand and engraving. Great buy.

It's $23.00. For $23.00 it is a fantastic deal and a fantastic blade. I take Iaido classes and this is perfect for at home practice. Clean the blade with alcohol and the factory oil and grease will come off, then apply a very lite coat of 3 in 1 oil. Not full tang, appears that a rivet is located behind the guard holding the blade in the handle. There are no bamboo pins holding the tang as in a real Katana. Inside mouth of scabbard is lined with plastic for about one inch. Iaido uses only unsharpened blades. I sanded the edge to make it dull and smooth. It is a standard Katana sword in size. It can be sharpened but don't expect a razor edge.

I attached some photo's of the Katana I got. There were no issues with mine. The Katana IS slightly sharp, and could be sharper IF you wanted it to be so. I wouldn't suggest you go running your fingers down the blade.. don't be stupid.. The stand comes in 3 pieces. and is made of a pine type wood. Not sure if it say's what it's made out of. It's very light. The stand I got went together easily and is sturdy. The sheath is plastic, but does look nice. The Katana is slightly heavy, if you are not use to them. But there's no problem swinging it. On that note. I wouldn't go chopping at trees or anything, as it states this does not have a full tang. Even people that do swordsmanship wouldn't do this with this sword. bamboo maybe if it was razor sharp and depending on the size. This isn't a toy. Don't be fruit Ninja'n crap with it. You could scare someone with it if you needed to and maybe defend yourself if need be. But go for proper training and instruction. Otherwise it looks nice on my case with my other martial arts stuff that I do.

This Katana is perfect for what it is! For what you pay it's a perfectly designed beautiful show peice. This is NOT a real combat sword, if you got a real battle ready katana for this price let me know where. This is perfect for display, the sheath feels strong and the stand is an excellent accompaniment in both looks and quality. The sword itself is very nice feeling, the steel feels strong and well made with a very sharp tip and a somewhat sharp edge. I've seen a few bad reviews on the fact that this isn't good for use, don't be stupid, it's a cheap, but well made, sword for display and if you want cosplay. Over all. I'd say it gets 5 Stars

Shipping was super fast. The quality is quite good considering the price. The sword isnt the sharpest but the point is definitely enough to pierce skin. Even though it's for decoration it can be used to protect yourself in a desperate situation. If you're looking for a practice sword look somewhere else, in my opinion it's too heavy and sharp to practice with. A couple issue is that the blade has a sticky glue like substance and it seems to be coming from the inside of the scabbard. The scabbard itself is quite nice but the top medal part sometimes slides off. The stand is easy to assemble and works as intended. Overall quite a deal for under 40$

Good quality decorative sword that's very affordable, I had looked at almost every sword or blade available on amazon before deciding on this one. Granted I don't know all that much about swords, but the detail put into this one is just satisfying. It comes with a stand which is a big plus for me, it works as a great decoration, I just have it on my shelf most of the time and it's an awesome eye catcher. It feels somewhat heavy (in a good way) and sturdy, but just exactly how durable it is I wouldn't know as I've never swung it against anything other than air lmao. There's an engraving on the blade itself that reads "China stainless steel". The sword comes oiled, which is intentional. If you're looking for a well priced sword decoration this is probably one of the best ones on amazon.

My son loved it and it has very nice detail for it's low cost but it's just a decoration. The downfalls are: Our blade is curved (not very sturdy) and now rusted! The blade was dirty when it arrived so I cleaned it and let it DRY outside of the casing, then slightly oiled it before putting it back inside. I guess that was a mistake because now it has rust stains all over the blade. Glad he didn't spend too much for it!
