Great quality and works perfectly.
I bought this for two purposes: The first and the main reason was to use the torch for applying shrink wrapping to wiring and soldered joints in smaller spaces where I don't have access to electricity suitable for a plug-in heat gun. (I'm a plant fitter and generally work in fields/middle of nowhere with no facilities etc). The second was to use for soldering cables when the weather doesn't permit the use of my battery powered soldering iron - Though I've got probably one of the best battery soldering irons on the market (and most expensive), it can't cope with heavy wind and rain as it can't retain enough heat in the tip - The Cabrim Blowtorch however can certainly continue to provide enough heat to allow me to successfully solder cables in all sorts of adverse weather (obviously in really bad winds I still need to give some shelter to the flame to avoid it being extinguished - but it's far ahead of the battery powered soldering irons for maintained heat output). The fuel consumption seems fine, it lasts longer than I'd expect (so I'd say it was good/economical) - I usually use three one second bursts of gas to fill - you can tell that the torch is filling by the cold feel to the handle as you prime it up, but I find a total of three seconds of gas transfer is about it's maximum refill - this will give you probably 15 minutes of continuous burn time (just guessing here as I only burn the torch as long as it takes to solder a cable, so maybe a minute at a time maximum usage). I've had no issues with the torch burning the tip or not igniting, it seems to be built to a good standard and is of a metallic construction - it feels nice in the hand and is weighty (in a good way). I like that you can turn the flame from one to two burners for extra heat and that the throw of the flame is perfect for smaller spaces. The torch provides good constant heat in all sorts of weather and I really can't complain about this tool at all. It lives in my toolbox and gets me out of trouble when I need a fair bit of heat. Would 100% buy another one when needed.

Good quality and does what it says with no trouble
A good unit that does what it says The variable flame length makes it suitable to use for different things as well as being able to swap between single or dual flame which alters the heat and performance. Filling was easy with a standard butane can purchased from almost anywhere. I use it to remove top bubbles on resin and a quick flash over works. I've filled it once since purchasing it 3 months ago and have yet to need to refill it Very sturdy construction and feels "heavy" and solid in your hand. Its been accidentally dropped, while full, and no issues with leakage or usage even after that.

Early days
Got this one mainly for the two flame usage. My thinking was a broader heat source would work faster than a single flame one, time will tell. It feels good to hold and use, and clicks on straight away, every time. It's made to a high standard, and enamel to a nice glossy finish. The only negative ( at the moment ) point is the lack of a safety catch for when you store it away after use, you don't want this to light accidentally. That's why 4 stars given - buy it, but store safely.

Really nice double flame burner
Really good nice quality item good double flame although if you want a single flame the control button on the top is pretty useless and I don't understand why they've let it down like that it seems to be so Heath Robinson and comparison to the rest of the machine although I was still say definitely get this it's really good I just don't understand that design part

Very sturdy and durable
This is my second one I have bought. The first one lasted me a few years and gave it away. It's a bit more pricey than its competitors. However, it is very well built, metal, single or bouble flame option, very easy to use. It is extremely durable: I've used it for over 5 years and has not faulted once! The flame is adjustable from very dim to very powerful, reaching heath up to about 1300 degrees Celcius. I definitely do recommend it!

Excellent Quality
After my last experience with purchasing a blow torch, I felt the old saying of "Buy Cheap - Buy Twice" really caught up with me and so this time, I opted for something a little more expensive. I am pleased that I made the right decision. This blow torch is very well crafted, you can really feel the sturdiness in your hands when using and it is perfect for the kitchen or the workshop. I actually use mine for 3D printing to remove stray plastic from some of my prints and the dual flame really comes in handy for this. In terms of longevity, I am very impressed. Again, to compare the last one, i would need to fill that up with gas everyday but this one last so much longer. The flame is also not wild so i'd say it's very safe to use. Ease of use - I'd say this is suitable for anyone, even a person with poor grip as the button on the top isn't difficult to use. The only negative I really have to say is that it doesn't have a child lock but for me that isn't an issue as all my kids are much older now. Overall this is an excellent purchase and very worthy of the 5 stars!

This has been the very best gas burner I’ve purchased.

*update* So its been 2 months and 2 days since I got this lighter. I use it daily. Igniting it atleast 10-20 times per day. The plastic knob on top hasnt worn out as i predicted it would. And really, the only wear is on the bottom, there's some paint chipping off. Its still a great lighter. *update* I'm detail oriented, lots of you are too. I appreciate this kind of feedback so, your welcome. First impressions, it was smaller than I expected. It's not "small", I just expected it to be a bit bigger. But I like that it's smaller now. It's physical size gives no impression of just how hot this torch is. I haven't used it enough to see how often I'll have to refill, but so far this thing is dynamite. It has two flames which you can turn a knob to take down to one flame, but you want to pick which you like and leave it there, forever. While most of this torch feels of quality, the knob that controls the flame count is plastic, and kind of flimsy. At 39 yo, I've learned to recognize a knob that won't live long with regular use. And this is that kind of knob my friend. I can just see you turning it one day and nothing happens because the thin plastic grooves are worn and it doesn't grip anymore. And my last complaint is the black plastic that covers the handle/tank area. Again, it's a small thing, but it rotates a mm or so left to right. It's just a sleeve of plastic over the metal body, and there's a rectangular metal groove that projects from the body that prevents the sleeve from just rotating at will over the body. The metal retaining groove in the body, doesn't fill the retaining notch in the plastic sleeve completely, so it has some wiggle. But, other than that, this thing is killer. I mean the stickers on mine, which are good quality, were a little crooked and not pressed on all the way, but this bad boy, or girl (whatever), get's the job the done and then some. It's honestly small enough to carry in your pocket if you need to, but I think you could lead solder copper pipes in a pinch. I bought it for dabbing, and it's perfect. You can't beat this torch for $20 man. I honestly bought it for the dual flame and because it looked cool. But if I had paid $50 for this thing, I'd still be raving about it. So if you're cruising the reviews because you want to buy it but you just can't make up your mind, just do it dude, really, you WILL NOT regret it. And on the 1% chance that your an alien and don't like awesome human things, you can always just return it! God bless Amazon!

Got this to replace my other fairly generic kitchen torch which broke. It's smaller than expected, which I like. Very easy to use, it has a good weight to it. It feels sturdy and well put together. The base is screwed in which is nice. Gets the quartz nice and red, the flames aren't huge though. UPDATE: It's been over 3 months and it still works great. The dual flames are a major plus if using a banger, it's not too bad on fuel either.
