Beautiful!
It’s quality and beautiful! Nice thickness and hard wood. No scratches or anything. I like the plastic guards on the metal hangers. It was easy to assemble and hangs solidly with two good included screws. It can hang a big sword like Anduril but I intend to use it with the Godric Griffindor sword when it arrives.

Of the three sword plaques that I bought from Amazon, this is the best one
There are more than three sword plaques available in Amazon.com, however, I just got my third sword plaque during the holidays and they are not all good quality. The “Medieval Opulence Golden Oval Universal Wood Wall Sword Plaque Display” at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KSBRT46/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and the “Hardwood Universal Sword Plaque” at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072JZ4H88/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 both have drawbacks that the “United Cutlery KR0062 Kit Rae Universal Sword Plaque” at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EDMNJ5O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 does not have. As you can see in the pictures below, the Medieval Opulence Golden Oval Universal Wood Wall Sword Plaque Display” and the “Hardwood Universal Sword Plaque” are both as thin as half an inch. You can not see very well that both only have two holes and they are too far apart for any sword with a regular size pommel. Unless you are hanging a two-handed Claymore, then the holes are too far apart and I would still warn you against using either of these sword plaques because they are so thin that the weight of the sword may brake the sword plaque and rip the brackets right off the front. On the other hand, the “United Cutlery KR0062 Kit Rae Universal Sword Plaque” is the exact opposite. As you can see in the picture, it is a full inch thick. What you cannot see is that there is a double row of holes to connect the hardware to. The two rows give you many options on what kind and shape of sword you can hang with this sword plaque. This sword plaque will even hang asymmetric pommel swords. The brackets are rounded and covered in plastic tubing to protect the finish on the pommel. This sword plaque is much better than the other two that I also got from Amazon.com

Universal Sword plaque, can we get stuff made out of WOOD?
Pretty, a little expensive for particle board. They send you little felt wall pads to protect your wall from being scraped up but they are almost nonexistent and don't help much. The plaque is pretty and I like the design. It would be nice if it was made from actual wood Seriously how much would that cost, I had several places where I had to touch up the finish due to the fragile nature of the particle board. It would be nice if it came with a paper template to help you mount it on the wall. Just saying.

Great!
I was a little dubious from the online pictures, but it is well enough finished and customizable for whatever sword you plan to use it for. They provided test holes on the back side that you can thread the hangar pins into to see which set fits your sword, then you drill from the back to put those holes through to the front. Felt pads cover up any drill mess and you thread the pins right through them from the front in just the right spots.Attaches to the wall with two screws. Measure carefully and Do Use The Anchors. Your wall probably doesn't have studs exactly where you want to hang it.

Good plaque, terrible installation.
The plaque itself is decent and good looking. The drywall anchors and screws that come with it are god awful, however. I recommend getting some ez-anchor screws from your local hardware store before you put avoidable holes in your wall.

Perfect!
I was scouring the internet for a sword plaque that wouldn’t be dwarfed by my husband’s Scottish claymore, and this one turned out to be perfect! He was so excited when it came in. Thank you!
