I bought Wildkin backpacks for my twin daughters for school this year. They chose the bug one (green) and the horse one (pink). I also got the matching lunch bags. They are all very cute and well made. The fabric is nice and durable. All but the horse backpack have the big teeth durable plastic zippers (not sure why the one backpack has a different one). Zippers are the first thing to go on backpacks, but these seem really durable. The outside pocket of the backpack has a few smaller pockets inside, including one with a zipper. The lunch bags are great -- VERY roomy. I like to use Rubbermaid reusable juice boxes and sandwich holders, and they both fit in there just fine with extra room for fruit or chips. The juice box holder is an elastic strap with Velcro, so it will hold any container securely in place. Plus, there is a mesh Velcro pouch on the inside of the lid for a small ice pack. They also have an adjustable shoulder strap.No one has the same backpack as they do at school, and they get compliments on them ALL THE TIME. Kids like them because they are cute and adults like them because they last.

This backpack is so spacious and perfect for my Pre-K daughter! She absolutely loves the vibrant colors, and it has plenty of room for all her school supplies and snacks. So far, we haven't had any concerns with it; it's sturdy and well-made. I highly recommend this backpack for little ones starting their school journey!

We purchased the pink glitter for our soon to be kindergartner. The size is perfect, the zippers worked well, and overall seems like it will be a good backpack. However, the pink glitter fabric is rough to the touch and ever so slightly sheds glitter. I could see it rubbing off completely on high use areas of the pack (when I ordered I thought it was a pink glitter vinyl material but it's not). We decided to exchange for mermaid scales and that fabric seems like it will be much more durable for the school year.

My kids are pretty small, I really didn't want to load them with a huge back pack. I needed it to be manageable for them, and this is the perfect size! It fits a regular size folder easily plus all the other stuff they need to pack! My son packs all his snow clothes, minus his coat, extra shoes, his show-n-tell, folder and library book in there! There's not much room for anything else, but it's all in there and he can easily get it in his self. I haven't had any problems with tearing or ripping. He's used it for 2 years now, no problems. I have thrown it in the washer and it cleans right up. I loved his so much that I bought one for my daughter. They are super nice! Highly recommend!

I got this backpack for my daughter who’s heading into 1st grade, and it’s everything I hoped for. It’s roomy enough for her lunch bag, folder, jacket, and any extras she may need, but still not too bulky on her back.She picked out the design herself and was so excited when it arrived. The quality is solid, the zippers are smooth, and the chest buckle gives it that extra support to keep it from sliding off her shoulders. That’s a big plus during morning rushes!She’s tall for her age, and the size of the backpack fits her just right — not too big, not too small. Highly recommend for early elementary school kids.

This backpack is perfect for a younger elementary school child; which I have. The pattern is really cute and vibrant. Better than pictured online. We ordered the matching lunchbox too. We are halfway through the school year here and the backpack has no stains or stitches loose and the material is nice and thick.
