Good product, poorest customer service
The welder works great for the price, but the tig torch switch sometimes won’t initiate arc regardless of what I do, just won’t start! I have tried to contact manufacturer and all my emails have been ignored!Update: manufacturer contacted me and provided me with the help I needed and went above and beyond trying and o fix my problem with the welding tig torch!

A True AC Tig Welder!
A True AC Tig Welder! This is a great value in ac/dc tig welding machines. Typically machines in this price range dont allow for ac welding, something I feel you need for a good aluminum weld. This welder is dual voltage, using 110 or 220 volt inputs, I found it to perform so much better on 220 volts. It has a nice set of features that are found in a pretty easy to navigate menu on the lcd display. The user interface is well laid out making it easy to find the setting you need, all the modes are right on the home page making it easy to set up for what you want to do, without it being buried in other menus. The settings allow for fine tuning the weld, with pre and post gas settings, another needed function for good aluminum welds. In use the foot pedal has a nice feel to it, and allows for good control of the heat as needed. The torch head has a nice balance to it and accepts industry standard cups. Welding performance wa great, after dialing the machine in over about 10 minutes to my materials, it was ready to go. It provides a very controllable and stable arc, with a uniform cone eavy time. I found it easy to get good penetration without overheating the area, and great cleaning of the filler due to the ac mode of welding. A great tig for the aluminum welders.

Produces strong welds on various metals
I use this TIG welding machine regularly in my workshop and it delivers consistent results across various metals including aluminum and stainless steel and its dual voltage capability allows me to switch between power sources. My projects benefit from the pulse and cold welding modes which minimize distortion and produce clean welds and the large LCD display makes adjusting settings simple. I like the machine’s portability despite its solid build and it handles both thin and thicker materials with precision with smooth arcs and minimal spatter. My welding sessions are more efficient with this machine and it adapts well to different environments making it a dependable tool.

Impressively Complete Kit
I'm really impressed by the completeness of this kit. It includes everything I need (and more), just shy of the shielding gas. The biggest surprise was discovering the kit included both a compact WP9 torch and a full size WP26 torch. Both torches already include their own 2-wire thumb switch and both stubby and long back cups. The kit also includes both a compact 2-wire foot switch and an all-metal 5-wire variable pedal. (To the reviewer that thought the 2-wire plug was wrong, remove the spare female receptacle from your male cord. They gave you the parts to make an extension cord.)I was going to comment on how short the ground lead was (which it is), but then noticed that the kit even included an extra cam-lug so you can make your own ground lead. This was a great discovery, because I was already planning on making a dedicated cam-lock ground lead to my welding table, but still needed the mating cam that fits both of my welders. The machine has an easy to learn user interface. One of the nicest features of this is the ability to save your job settings to recall them later.

Impressive tig package!
For a tig kit, this was about as complete of a kit that I have seen, right down to the torch cable already having a sleeve on it! Arc starts are smooth and welding is smooth. Plenty of adjustments for any project or job you're working. Had great results on both stainless and aluminu and down right easy to use.

Great TIG welder
The media could not be loaded. Great dual voltage TIG welder. Comes with everything you need except for a tank of Argon gas. Easy to assemble, and functions well. Great value for the money.

Great for the price!
Tig welder:Pros: very capable welder- pre and post gas times, amperages, frequency shapes, 2T and 4T ( two button pushes or 4 button pushes per weld) are all adjustable from the control panel- took the welder to a friend who is a professional welder and he was impressed. Really nice variable foot pedal, grounding clamp was acceptable, torches work and are covered with a cloth burn protector, torches come with plugs for tight space work as well as tubes to hold full size carbide electrodes, each torch comes with collets for three sizes of tungsten. The torches also each have three different sizes of gas cups and 10 extra cups of one sizeCons:The switches on the torches are very cheap ( but are not needed if using the nice variable foot pedal), the torches work well but probably need to be treated with care- seemed like they would not take alot of abuse, the second foot pedal ( small and grey in photo) had the wrong connector ( I used the variable foot pedal so I didn't care), the worst problem was the instructions- don't rely on them for learning to use the machine- if you are familiar with tig, you may find some useful technical information in them ( duty cycle, etc.), but don't expect to find settings or setups for various metals.Thoughts:I was able to weld stainless and aluminum- unit does not come with a regulator- I will probably try to add diffusers and larger cups to get better gas coverage, but I am happy with the basic unit and it's functionality.
