I just upgraded my internet service to a 2 GB x 1 GB fiber connection. That meant I needed to replace my gigabit switch and gigabit Ethernet connector. I grabbed this switch because of great reviews and because it came with a PCI-e Ethernet card for the same price as the switch alone. Nice deal!I appreciate the exceptional build quality of both products. You can see how well the case goes together in my photo. Unfortunately, in my excitement to get my network running, I did not take a picture of the Ethernet card.The switch was plug-and-play and started right up without a hiccup. The Ethernet card comes with a small DVD with all the drivers. I installed the card, then loaded all the drivers. It was seamless and also worked perfectly. I can safely say it was a pleasant experience, especially when I saw the 2 GB download speed on my speed test.If you need to upgrade your switch and Ethernet card to accommodate 2 GB speed, you'll love this duo.

Nice little hub, takes up no room due to it's compact size. Worked straight out of the box, with no issues with Kill E3100G 2.5GHz NICs. After 24 hours everything changed, each time the system went to sleep it required a restart, BIOS access to disable/enable the Killer E3100G 2.5G NIC. After fitting it for six hours, it was returned to Amazon.

Very easy setup, nothing hard at all. Just plug in the ethernet cable from the modem or router and let it go, Nice and small and compact. Very quiet and it is built nicely. I like it so far and it works well. Does not get too warm as of yet. Great, so far. Only time will tell!!

Very economical switch for home network. Now I can use my file server's 2.5Gbps network at full speed to transfer files. Truly plug & play, no issues at all.

Easy to install, as you would expect, it's as simple as plug in all Ethernet cables plug in power and away you go. Honestly not noticed any great gains over my last switch but it's done the job I needed it for.
