I can only use one out of the 5 because the others are so small.
I really love the idea of this, and want to give it 5 stars. The reason it’s not getting 5 starts is because of two things. First this particular 5 pack. I admit I didn’t read the dimensions on the sizes it comes in but even so the smalls are SMALL!!! I have no idea what they can be used for besides very small bowls you put ingredients in or to wrap no more then three chips ahoy cookies like in my picture. And it came with two of them. The largest one it came with is the only one I see myself being able to use, and it still barely covered my whole sandwich as seen in the pic I added. Second the bees wax coating is thicker then I expected it to be which makes it stiff and challenging to wrap a sandwich in. You also need warm hands to make it stick at all. So if it’s winter I suggest running your hands under warm/hot water first. Then you have to wrap what your wrapping and kinda just hold it with warm hands before you pinch it together. So for this to be 5 stars for me I would mainly want larger sizes, especially for as much as it is. It’s a bit pricy for the sizes offered. The large one in this pack should be the smallest with larger sizes mixed in.It would also be nice if I could pick the pattern I wanted.I’ll need to shop more and pay more attention to the sizes before buying again. But I might buy again, especially if the prices drop. Again I love this idea and am trying to go plastic free!

Great idea but not perfect
My mission this year was to be more earth friendly and use less plastic. With kids, we seem to have a LOT of leftovers and instead of using cling wrap or something similar, I found these Beeswax Food wraps online. I was very excited about them and liked the idea of a natural and reusable product. I got these on time and really liked the selection of colors and patterns. It varies - from what they said - in color and pattern selection. I didn't mind.Pros:- Eco-friendly: natural and reusable. I love beeswax.- cute and fun patterns and colors / sizes- can cover a bunch of items... sort of.Cons:- They don't really stick to your items very well. I've been having a hard time getting them to wrap around items, especially bowls (see photo), the sides come up and it ends up drying out the food inside the bowl. This was the main reason I wanted these, was to cover bowls and food items.- You can't use in the microwave. Well that's the downside with beeswax - it will melt! But it would have been nice to leave on when I'm nuking the leftovers. I just have to take off and use something else to cover them.- When wrapping something like a sandwich or part of fruit - you really need to put the closure part on the bottom or the wrap will start to unwrap. I decided not to use these for lunches since the sandwich didn't feel secure in the wrap.Overall, I really want to love these and I WILL continue to use them, but, they just aren't what I was really hoping they'd be. This is probably consistent among other beeswax food wraps, but I was just hoping they'd be a little bit more sticky than they are and adhere to containers and itself. I will use these for certain items, but nothing I really need good coverage on - for that I'll stick to tupperware.

Great alternative to plastic cling wrap
I have been using reusable Beeswax Food Wrap for about three months and I am impressed. I have used them to wrap cheeses, cover leftovers in the fridge, wrap sandwiches and wrap a half-eaten piece of fruit! They wrap tightly around pieces of food and the edges of dishes to keep air out. They refold easily for different shapes. I did compromise one piece early on by washing it with water that was too hot and some of the waxiness is gone (but it still works) - keep to the cooler temperatures; they get just as clean. I gave it four stars because I would prefer to cut my own sizes rather than buy the sizes the company decides I need, which is often too big or too small. I would like to see them sell the product by the yard, or by the roll, much like cling wrap. I highly recommend the this product - it is helping us cut down on our disposable plastic usage.

A better way to wrap food
I like beeswax wraps as an alternative to cling wrap. This is the first purchase I’ve made and I’m happy with how they work though it’s best to have your expectations in line. These cannot be used with acidic fruits or raw meat (though you can put them in a bowl and use the wraps to cover). They don’t seal to plastic containers and bowls. We use ours to wrap snacks, cover sandwiches, cover cut fruit/veg/cheese. I do think they help keep food fresh for longer and they are much better for the environment than single use cling wraps. My only small nag is that I was a little disappointed in the fabric patterns I ended up with. I was hoping for nice bright colors like the pictures suggest but mine were all a bit bland. Not a deal breaker, just know you might not get to colors you thought.

Super functional and great way to cut down on plastic in the home!
Love, love, LOVE these things!!!! We are really trying to go plastic free in my home and it really requires a mental shift with things. Before, if I had some opened cheese I needed to put in the fridge, I would always just put it in a plastic bag. Now, I just wrap one of these babies around the end and it stays fresh! Before, if I had cut an apple in half and I wanted to save the other half, I would put in in a plastic sandwich bag. Now, I just wrap one of these beeswax wraps around it! Awesome! If I have some spaghetti left in my bowl, I just seal the bowl with one of these! They seal so well!Just rub your fingers over where you want it to stick back and forth, and you will be amazed how well it seals! Think of all the plastic in the oceans washing up all over the place, and you just WANT to do something to cut down on plastic. Like I said, it is a total mental shift, but one that is totally possible. This is one way to switch your habits. These are cute, keep things fresh, and are easy to use. After use, just rinse in cold water and maybe a little dish soap, and hang to dry. They are ready to use again as soon as they are dry! Highly recommend!
