Honestly, I was skeptical because of the price. Once I opened the box I was floored. I have massive hands and finding a knife that feels good is far and few between, this thing fits like it was made for me. The blade has a good heft to it and came out surgically sharp. So far the edge has held up well. And let's talk about the sheath. It holds the knife securely with an easy draw. The ability to move the clasp to adjust for the comfort of the wearer is phenomenal. Over all I give this knife a solid 8/10. Your not going to find a better rig for the price point.

Surprisingly comfortable handle. Comes with a lanyard to keep the whole hefty, slippery grips from flying out of your hands when wet. Nice thick drop point blade. Sheath works great and the belt clip is super adaptable to different positions thanks to the extreme abundance of rivet holes on the sheath. Robust camping/ survival knife. Amazing value for the price.

The knife was nice and sharp out of the box, shaves arm hair and sliced paper with no issues. I haven’t tried any wood processing, but it cuts zip ties and paracord with no issues and then produced nice curlies. The sheath has a tiny amount of rattle to it if you shake it hard enough, but the retention is good. It does deploy rather easily. It rides a tad high for my own personal liking, some sort of dangler rig would be better IMO. The scales feel comfortable and seem to give a good grip even if wet and with no noticeable hot spots ( if there are they will reveal themselves when chopping. For the price I’d definitely give it Five stars.

Great blade from when I was using it! Looks like an almost exact copy of a Chris Reeves Knife but wayyy cheaper. Coating seems great. Blade thickness is great. Everything is pretty solid. My only complaint is the sheath is not fully sealed on the top edges so mine has a very loud rattle of the blade being loose. But all in all a good knife. With is the only reason I give it 4 stars. If it wasn’t for the sheath I’d give it 5

Thick surival knife. Sharpens well. Could kill a G$%$^nm bear with this thing. However, the scabbard holder is CRAP! Can't attach to belt without poking you in your ribs. The scabbard itself is a hard resin material. Tuff. Luckily it has lots of holes in the sides. Will have to make a piece of leather with belt loop to hang down like a traditional k-bar scabbard has.

The one I got doesn't hold a edge. Like the shape and feel but I don't think it got heat treated. Aus10 is a good steel but like other good steels if it's not heat treated properly it's no good.

My second purchase GTKiiI have now bought 4 from them. This is no different than the others. Some things that shine: Quality Control, Edge Grind Well done, mating of scales, finish, sheath, all pretty amazing for a $40 knife. This knife is very similar to the old Buck Nighthawk, just beefier and larger by a bit. It is balanced, handle conforms in all the right places with no hot spots. Traction is 8/10 with the grivory type handles. I can’t find a flaw on mine, and an American made AUS10 knife of this attention to detail and finishing would be $150-$200. Nice job. I will be happy to see after my 4, what comes next. Keep the traditional styles coming !!

If you need a TANK of a knife and don’t want to break the bank the GTKii GTK2 is for you. You can rely on this knife under just about any conditions . I have put it through the ringer since it arrived and it shrugs off abuse with ease
