Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Pop-Up: A Petrifying Pop-Up for the Holidays

I absolutely love this book! Must have for any NBC fans. My 3 year old and 5 year old thought this book was so awesome. We read it and then they wanted to read it again. The pop ups are large excellent quality and interactive. Some of the pages have pull tabs that will open things up further. The pages also have other smaller sections with pop ups. I was in b and Nobel and the book was 65.00 there. So 30.00 on Amazon was a steal. I would pay the 65.00 for this book. Great book overall I'm very happy to own it and add to my collection. Its also told as it is in the movie.

The pictures shared on here not do this pop up book justice. The details are amazing and I cannot wait to read this to my son! I wouldn’t gift this to a child that handles books roughly as with the intricate foldings the pop ups could easily be damaged. Because of this, I’m planning to hold onto it when it’s not being read as my child is only 5. One major thing I noticed that I haven’t seen mentioned that unlike past NBC books, this is not an exact retelling of the original poem but a retelling of the movie itself. This is one I would highly recommend for any fan!

I am a pop-up book collector. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" by Matthew Reinhart is absolutely spectacular! Probably one of the best pop-up books I own and I own many. The main page pop-ups are delightful and then every page has additional fold out pop-ups to support the story line. WOW! If you enjoy Pop-up Books you will not be disappointed. This is not really for children, as the pages are intricate and delicate. With parental assistance, all children will delight with the story and the incredible scenes. Simply spectacular!!!

Item came in perfect condition, and fast. It is worth every penny! The details, and written story are perfection. Not only do you get the big pop up on each page spread (with interactive pull tabs) but each of the written story parts also pop open to reveal hidden, smaller pop ups. SO much thought and detail went into this product. It really is like holding the movie in your hands. My 7 yr old loves to read this with me at bed time.

This is a beautiful book. So full of detail and all the little popups are fun to play with. Though I would say its probably a book for older kids rather than younger just because the pop up pieces are so intricate in the way they are folded kids in the younger age group could definitely ruin them. Its also a very short book. Only like 6 pages or so. But still worth it in my opinion

Love the book. Shipping/packaging: arrived fast, but banged up. Was sealed, so it should've been in brand new condition. For the price it should've been packaged better. Noticed the fold out flaps had bent corners, every fold out tab in the entire book has at least one bent/damaged corner. If you're looking to purchase this as a collector's item, I suggest buying it else where. I still rated it 5 stars because the book itself is awesome!

This is AMAZING!!! I bought this for my bestie for Christmas, and I got to look at it all, and I without a doubt will be purchasing one for myself! The details are fantastic almost every page has a pull tab that reveals something. It’s so worth the price! If you are a Nightmare before Christmas fan you HAVE to get this!

My wife yelled at me for spending 40 bucks on a kids book but once we received it she was singing a different tune. The level of detail in each display is incredible. Each page is a separate adventure and tells the story in a new and unique way. My kids both love the book and we have to read/play with it every night.

Dieses Buch ist wunderschön, ich bin komplett sprachlos! Ein Must Have für alle Fans von Tim Burton. So viel zu Fangirlen, kommen wir zum sachlichen Teil. Das Buch ist recht schwer und liegt gut in der Hand, es ist etwas kleiner als ich es mit vorgestellt habe, aber sehr dick. Jede Seite enthält ein riesiges Papkunstwerk der verschiedenen Filmszenen. Ich hätte mir ein par mehr Seiten gewünscht, es sind "nur" fünf Szenen, mit diversen Interaktionen. Unter Interaktionen versteht man kleine Flächen andenen gezogen werden darf, so verändert sich das Bild und/oder eine neue Szene erscheint. An anderer Stelle kann der Text ausgeklapt werden und eine neue Szene versteckt sich draunter. Mir ist aufgefallen das manche dieser Interaktionsbereiche etwas schwerfällig sind und man mit etwas mehr Kraft ziehen musste. Was einem ein mulmiges Gefühl gibt. Allerdings wirkt das Buch sehr stabil und handlich, ich denke es könnte für Kinder geeignet sein, solang diese nicht mit Gewalt an die Seiten herangehen. Die Seiten lassen sich sehr leicht umschlagen und die Papgebielde falten sich ohne Probleme zusammen. Der Text ist hier in dieser Ausgabe auf Englisch. Alles in Allem ein wunderschönes Buch und eine absolute Kauf und Verschenk Empfehlung!

This book is definitely a masterpiece! Amazing artwork along with incredible pop up techniques. Matthew never disappoints. If you are a Pop-Up book collector this is definitely for you!

My girlfriend is a huge fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas and she has been collecting movie-related merchandise for years. This is the perfect Christmas gift for her. We were both surprised by how much details are in this pop-up book. It is well designed and constructed. Great buy.
