Great bright

The lamps were exactly what I was looking for and they didn’t disappoint. Bright and a perfect matching replacement for the existing lamps 😃

Good angle, extremely bright - the 7 watts makes a considerable difference. Would have had 5 stars except one only lasted 24 hours - hopefully just a one off else I shall be returning to downgrade!

I put the bulbs in my kitchen a few months ago and it's working fine. Good value for money.

Lights are really bright and nice for eyes however since I put up 10 lights, most of them flickers a lot which is bad for eyes. Also, downstairs I put up 20 lights which worked for 10 mins and then stopped working the complete panel so I had to remove and put back old one. Really disappointed with that though. Would have given 5 star if none were blown off and if there were no issues with flickering.

These give out a decent amount of light with a colour temperature very close to traditional halogen lamps. The diffuser works well and distributes the light evenly across the lamp, I like that they're opaque enough so that you cannot see the light source so you don't have to look at ugly yellow chips like you do with other LED lamps.I could not review efficiency nor longevity as they've only been installed for a few days.

Bought just over a year ago to replace 2 of 20 bulbs of different make that had lasted 5 years before that.Sadly 2 out of 10 bulbs have now failed within 11 months. "That's ok, that's a2 year warranty," I hear you say? Well, read on.These give off a decent light, but by now there are other bulbs on the market that cost less and use less electricity, at similar brightness.I use these for general lighting instead of pointing at a museum sculpture, so one particular aspect that I found important was that these are frosted and have a wide beam angle. Some other bulbs would throw a narrow, focused beam without any diffusion, causing reflection off spectacles and causing uneven lighting with shadows. That's a plus point.But where it all falls down is the seller and the "2 year guarantee" that isn't worth the little cardboard packaging it's printed on. At first the seller responded quickly, but 2 weeks later no replacements have turned up, and there is no further response. Just something automatic to fool Amazon's response time requirements.It's one thing for bulbs to fail within a few weeks or months instead of the touted "many years", and another to promise a non-existent service.Luckily I can move some of the older bulbs around to match them in rooms (avoiding slight colour variance if mixing), but I wouldn't buy these again nor recommend, since overall the failure to last and lack of a meaningful guarantee mean that they are simply not as described.Edit (21/08/2023):By end of May 2023 another 3 bulbs had failed. Seller took 2 weeks to get back to me and said they would send replacements. I forgot about it, but nothing turned up. Emailed again around 10th August and seller claims to have posted them on 31st July. That's either an entire month later than their original reply, or they're lying through their teeth.

I bought these after getting through a whole box of lamps which I bought from Screwfix - they're meant to last 10,000 hours but there's no way that they did.These feel much more robust and better constructed.Great value for money and they provide the bright white light that I want in my kitchen.
