no it does not fit the car seat I have and the other ones I purchased the little Houdini I have got right out of them.

Has anyone tried to remove the lock and put it on another car seat?

I haven’t tried to intentionally remove it and move to another car seat, but my son removed it himself. He just yanked it really hard and it came off.
