Missing the COA, but the set and coins are pristine!
The coins are perfect and the case has not been cracked open. It is missing the certificate of authenticity and the box shows slight wear, but overall I am still very happy with this purchase!

Highly giftable, beautiful set
These are priced right at the current market value, so if buying for resale; forget this deal. However, they are beautiful. The mint sets were shipped in envelopes with uncirculated coins from both Philadelphia and Denver mints, but proof sets are made with a mirror finish and produced by the San Francisco mint. The presentation case is one indicator that this is a proof set, as is the six coins (rather than 12 in the mint set). These sets sold for $12 in 1982, and are currently trolling along at about $3.50 on the resale market. Therefore, buy this beautifule set for yourself or as a gift.

Son loved it!
Just one of the gifts I gave my son for Christmas. I wanted it to be a complete surprise ... and it was.
