Great looking post light. Appears well made and solid. Only negative is that it had to be attached to the post with sheet metal screws as the base only had holes instead of threaded set screws.

I was looking to replace a flood light that sits on the corner of the house over the garage since it's way too harsh to have right above the driveway. I was working with a small space (the overhang where the light would sit is only about 7 inches deep) and most flush mount outdoor lights wouldn't fit in this spot, and given that it's on the corner of the house, I didn't want something on a pendulum chain. This light fit the spot perfectly, was very easy to install, and once I get a dusk/dawn sensor for the bulb will be a great replacement for the outdated flood lights. Adds great character to the house! Since I didn't use the chain, I can't speak to how clear the directions were- installing flush mount fixtures is pretty basic, so after looking over the directions, it was pretty easy and intuitive to install myself.

I bought this Outdoor Post Lantern to replace a light fixture that was broken. It is beautiful and well made.

This light is large and sturdy, built very well. The only issue i had was other lights I have installed have had set screws to attach to the post, this lamp has three 3/16 holes drilled in the base so i had to drill holes into the post to accept. Not a big problem but some people would like to know that. once I did that the install was basic. Really like the fact that there are twist caps on the top and also on the bottom so you can remove the entire rectangle glass section to being in and clean when needed and the bulb and socket stay intact. great design. Ive had other post lights that you have to try to get your hand i from the top to clean glass, so for that i give it great design.

Great price and looks nice. The light has glass but the outside is made of plastic. This is good for weight but not sure how it will hold up to weather.

Overall great looking lights. Look great on our columns around the driveway. They're large enough where they don't look out of place on large driveway columns like some others that we had ordered. It'd be nice if the company included or sold a post base mount so you can install this directly onto a flat service. I had to purchase the mounts from another company in order to mount these onto the bluestone top on my columns.

Over all this product seems well made and functional. BUT the one that I received was missing several components, and I had to cannibalize from the unit that I was replacing. These missing parts were the screws to attach the top plate of the unit and the screws to attach the unit to a pole.

Easy to change a light bulb!
