A Good outlook on Human-AI interface in investment
The book goes in depth explaining concepts of investment. The author has exemplified how risk and rewards are part of investment procedure. She has elaborated how investors get absorbed into the surface-level rewards of few investors without knowing and understanding the underlying loses otherwise incurred by them and/or other investors. The author has comprehensively enumerated how AI/ML with professional Human involvement can reduce the Noise in investment towards more promising and verifiable rewards. The only point of concern is that it seems that more often than not, the author is trying to market First Global and its FG-HUM smallcase investments.

The markets are not for individuals
Devina is a respected investor. Her myth busting is admired. Also she is a great proponent if global investment. I should confess that I could not go through much of the book as I found her repeating her observations. Moreover, if we accept her theories then individual investors really have no place in the market. Her investments are machine learning, read AI, assisted. They do take the emotions out of the equation, but then an individual investors doesn't have that. i am reading Howard Marks. He has partly agreed with the efficient market theory. But only partly. He tells us that most of the market is efficient, but lot of it is inefficient too. This means that we have find hidden gems, not being discussed on TV. Most of them will not be part of the nifty. Many would be unknown to, or ignored, sometimes despised by the market. Finding mispriced stocks takes lot of research. Most of us can't do similar research in the foreign markets. So that leaves only institutions. The gist then would be to invest through institutions, most of which invest in the same equities.
