Just what we needed

We RV quite a bit and recently got a new shower curtain that has plastic grommets. The two pieces snap together but unfortunately, when we wash the curtain, the grommets come apart. Thought the 1/4 size would be perfect but they are too small and 1/2 is too large. Still looking for some just smaller than 1/2. We are not returning this kit because for one, it's a cool kit with three or four different color grommets. Our daughter does a lot of crafts, so we are confident she'll put the kit to good use.

Easy to use. I used the supplied punch tool. I put my nylon strap on soft wood. It wasn’t a clean circle but good enough. Holes punched clean as shown on aluminum. Visually these work very well. I’m going to put about 40 pounds force on the grommets and see if they survive. The metal is very thin. They are not ferrous steel. They may be stainless. A magnet does not stick to them.

The set was nice in that it had a very functional case with assorted grommet colors and all the tools but a small hammer.The case really does make this easier except for the finish rings all falling to the bottom.Including a nice punch to make clean holes for the grommets was great too.Problem is that when crimping the ring onto the base grommet it is tricky to get a pretty finish. I have used grommets for decades but these are the first where the finishing tool tends to deform the ring rather than just crimp it on. They do work and they do seem to stay on, but I had trouble getting a consistent good looking grommet as the rings just seem to light a material.

Very compact, like the assortment of grommets easy to use

its just so down cheap its not worth it. the hammer press thing doesnt work well, but most importantly the outside edges of the grommets are way to sharp and they cut the leather around the out side. had this happen too many times i just throw them all away. one bad one and your project is ruined.

I bought a new wallet after many many years of just using a wristlet. I can't get past not having a wristlet when I want to have my hands-free so I bought this Gromit kit to go through the leather. The leather is real leather, so it was a little hard to get through, but I had all the tools that I needed to make it work with this kit. The color of the grommets are just what I needed. Now I have extras for years to come good purchase
