Works great for any lighting connection. I projected my older iPad 8 and it looked great.

Edit: I had edited this review and I have to edit again because the adapter is working fine. What happened was that the actual tv part was not working correctly. When I tried it in other tvs there was no issue. The adapter is working great. The adapter is working great and like I said before; The adapter comes in so handy. I can connect my phone to my tv with such ease. No need for complicated instructions. I just plugged in and ran dah it’s done. Perfect for my pictures and the cable is long enough too. The adapter is great.

I have an older phone with lighting cable port so this unit works great. I plug one end to my phone and the other to my computer hdmi port and it mirrors perfectly. Picture quality is good as my phone and value is a great deal. Works with all my devices that uses the old lighting cable port for charging. Plus there are no lag in picture morrow to the monitor which is a plus for me. Only down fall is some of the app on my phone will not get full monitor resolution but other than that works really well and compatible with a lot of my devices.

Does it technically screen mirror? Yes, but not anything you would actually want to mirror. DRM is your enemy with this cable so as long as you don't want to mirror any streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+, etc. then you will probably be fine. I didn't have time to test this adaptor before we went camping somewhere with limited signal. I got the projector and screen set up for a Halloween night in the campground with downloaded movies on the iPad through the services listed above. Everything worked great on the iPad. Plugged the adapter cable into the projector and iPad and videos would either instantly stop or would continue on iPad only. When I exit out of an app, the iPad screen was mirroring just fine. If I opened the photos app and watched videos from there, it worked. It's basically DRM making life difficult for those of us who already pay enough money to watch what we want to watch and when/where to watch. To the manufacturer and seller of this cable, you should really check your "certification" as this is misleading and false advertising. I'll definitely be returning this item and will not be purchasing anything else from them again.

Have tried a few brands and this one definitely delivers. Plugged it into the back of the TV, plugged into phone, went to input, selected where it was (in this case HDMI 2) and within a blink of an eye, phone was fully showing on TV. Great value for the money. Feels like it will hold up. Connected right off the bat. The company was very clear on what WILL NOT PLAY and even took the time to include a card with the item to remind the customer. It plays what it advertises just fine. Compatible with IPHONE 11 in this case.

I got this cable so that I could connect my iPad to my game capture card without needing to mess with AirPlay. It worked perfectly! The cord length is long enough that I can have my ipad in a comfortable position at my desk, and the connectors seem to work great.

After testing with 3 different iPhone models, I discovered that this device seems to have specific iOS version requirements. If you're using iOS 18 or iOS 26, such as on iPhone SE 2020 or iPhone SE 2022, you likely won't be able to use it. However, if you're on iOS 17 or older versions, like iOS 12, the chances of successful screen mirroring are much higher. I think this product should clearly indicate this issue. Based on this phenomenon, I'm somewhat skeptical about the validity of their MFi certification or what exactly their certification covers. I hope people using iOS 18 and above will see this review.

It works, nice long cable

Only share’s screen. Does not work when you want to watch Netflix, Sky Go or other TV apps from your phone. Waste of money for me.
