Our first Chia Pet
Never have done the Chia Pets before but when they came out with Bob Ross we had to try it. My mother was an avid fan of his. We’ve had fun watching it change through the days. It’s nice that the package of seeds are enough for more plantings. It’s a fun & easy indoor gardening project!

Not as offbeat as you may think!
This is such a great gift! It could work as well for a White Elephant gift as for a really heartfelt surprise for an admirer of Bob Ross and all he stood for. My husband admired Bob because he encouraged people to express themselves joyfully and be proud of what they created, leaving judgment behind.

Bald spot bob
This was a fun family project and the kid loved watching it grow. Bob never grew on the top and looked pretty ridiculous but we had some laughs and enjoyed it.

A Fun and Unique Addition to My Garden - Ice Spice Chia Pet!
I recently added the Ice Spice Chia Pet to my garden, and it has quickly become a favorite conversation starter among friends and family. This quirky and adorable chia pet has brought a touch of whimsy to my outdoor space. The packaging was secure, and the chia seeds were easy to apply. Within a week, I started to see sprouts emerging, and it was fascinating to watch the Ice Spice Chia Pet come to life. The chia seeds provided with the kit were of high quality, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Maintenance is a breeze; all it requires is a bit of water and sunlight. The chia sprouts are resilient and grow quickly, adding a vibrant green element to the overall aesthetic. I appreciate the durability of the chia pet, as it has weathered the elements without any issues. This Ice Spice Chia Pet has not only added character to my garden but has also brought joy to everyone who sees it. It's a fantastic gift idea for those who appreciate a mix of fun and gardening. I highly recommend the Ice Spice Chia Pet for anyone looking to add a touch of humor to their outdoor space!

Helpful tip on the chia pet.
I've always wanted a chia pet and a bob ross chia pet was a dream come true to get on. So I got one for Christmas. It took me a while to start it but as it was snowing a week ago it was the perfect activity to do while your stuck at home. Now there are people who are saying the mix it too watery and wet not gel like. Apparently those people didn't read the tip on the instructions. (As a tip it says to add more seeds wait 10 minutes. And it helps the spread get thicker.) So first when your starting to spread the seeds. Spread it like your spreading icing. Cover the head with plenty of seeds. It says to water it every day. I actually water it one day wait another day then the third day you change the water. Put this head in a deep container. It didn't overflow. But get a deep container. And give it plenty of sunlight. On top of the head take a spray bottle and spray the top of the head. Now i did the beard. So far it looks amazing. So if you want the full look I recommend the hair and the beard. If you follow these instructions it will work. And its exciting to do. Its fun activity to do it takes time but its a plant so be patient and have fun watching the chia pet grow.

Had to get it for my WN fan
Had to get this for my mom who is a big WN fan. We got the hair to grow a little bit the the plants in the middle never sprouted. Still a fun gag gift

My chia seeds were duds, but the bust of Rose is hilarious, so I don't even mind that she didn't grow a green 'fro.

This was my first chia pet and I enjoyed watching this product grow. I used instructions from a blog that suggested after the planter and seeds had completely dried, use a spray bottle and a plastic bag to dampen the planter with water to allow the seeds to germinate and stick to the planter to help stop seeds from sliding off. Once the roots were long enough, remove the plastic bag and add water daily to allow the chia seeds to grow. I would also probably use a little less than 2 tsp of chia seeds (maybe 1.5 tsp) for this chia pet, as I had a lot of seeds left after I covered one layer of seeds on the entire head.

The guys at my husbands workplace screwed up the mixture and didn’t put it on evenly but it was an absolute hoot watching her grow hair and all the phases she went through. All in all it was a riot and good laughs.
