Good choice
Just as expected

Wanted to like it, but awful. Don’t waste your money.
This really more of a review of the Remarkable Paper Pro, which is a regrettable purchase and terribly executed. First, the “colors” are a joke. Imagine super light, faded pastel colors. Not even close to a highlighter or red pen. Second, glitchy software. At times it just stopped writing. Third, the template lines are illegible. The u“To Do” list looks like a blank page. Don’t waste your money.

Worked for a bit
Worked great for a few months, but it no longer feels like connecting to my Remarkable tablet at all. Good size, comfortable to hold, but NOT worth 80 dollars.

Did not work
The marker did not work. Contacted reMarkable support and confirmed that the marker was not working (tried several other markers, i.e., Kaweco EMR, BOOX marker, Staedtler Norris Digital Jumbo); all worked well. Returning this reMarkable marker for refund and ordered a replacement from reMarkable. Disappointed over the inconvenience.

Good when it works, but doesn't last
The pen writes well when it works. The problem is it doesn't last. At some point, it will start to write without touching the surface. I tried everything including their tech service, no fix. I had to buy a new one to keep using the tablet.

Magnetic attachment is terribly flawed.
Magnetic attachment is horrible. It only has 1 magnetic point of attachment (either higher or lower. They do not both align and attach at the same time). Original pen seemed to have a continuous magnetic strip to hold it in place. First day I took the new stylus with me, it fell off... Somewhere. I have the type folio which extends a bit to cradle the stylus to keep it from being brushed off easily. Seriously $80 for a stylus that doesn't stay attached to your tablet? Hopefully it shows up somewhere so I can return it.
