Had the ice maker for three months now. No issues and makes ice very fast. The family loves it.

This is such a great ice maker for such a low price, my spouse and I absolutely love it and can't really go without it now. It works so well and makes ice so quickly. Easy to fill up and just easy in general. I love this thing. I've had it about a month now and use it all day every day and it still is working perfectly. It also came with a big sheet of cute/hilarious stickers, some of them have nothing to do with ice makers whatsoever but the brand must make other things besides this and just put a sticker sheet in anything they send lol, it's a cute touch though. We put one of the stickers on the machine and it looks like it belongs there. You do need to buy de-scaler/cleaner for it, the ice will start tasting weird if you don't clean it out and cycle some water through it afterwards. The only small complaint is that I wish there was a place to put the scoop, we just have to set it on our counter. At least it does stand upright, the end of the handle is flat so you can stand it up next to the machine. It would just be nice if there were a different spot on the machine for it to go. Other than that, I love this! It gets me drinking water wayyyy more than I usually would... I have a hard time drinking water if it's not cold and now that we have this I'm drinking ice water constantly. Oh, also the machine is a tiny bit on the loud side, I really don't mind though at all, it doesn't bother me. My spouse had been worried before it was delivered that it would be annoyingly loud and she says it doesn't bother her either, it's not as bothersome as she thought it would be.

"That good ice" machine. Let's start with the basics. It's an ice machine! It fills up the bin with ice over about an hour. This bin is a good amount of ice for about 3 stanley cups filled with ice. It makes a sound about the same as a low hum (it's the fan) or wait! The fan makes a sound about the noise level of a standing fan on low. The water basin holds about 1.7 liters of wait to be made into ice. Under the ice bin is a catch pan for ice that melted at some point. This water DOES NOT recycle (this is part of the reason for 4 stars) and there is a plug on the bottom of the unit to release / empty this catch pin (the other reason for the missing star). You want to make sure unit is empty of ice and feeder water before emptying the catch bin. I have started placing unit over the sink to empty catch bin. Features! The app is easy to setup, advises of the status of unit, can set schedule to make ice, stop making ice, voice control options. Very asthetically pleasing and the light on this unit is bright! The lady loves it and I keep turning it off. Too bright for me to be on ALL the time. Purchased this one because it has more features than GE profile, Cheaper, and after watching some youtube reviews of the Ecozy. This was a no brainer! Highly recommend this unit and already guided 2 other people to purchase it. They saw our Facebook post and had all the questions. I should get some kind of kick back and endorsement deal don't ya think? Anyway, If what I've already said suits your needs GET THIS MACHINE!

This review is based on the fact I've used it for a week. the ice basket is small, based on previous ice makers which i replaced BUT its quick to refill. the light makes it easy to see the ice. the size is incredible for what you get, the basket and tank are very easy to clean. the cleaning cycle is done with the press of a few buttons. I do not use the app so I cannot review it but the touch panel gives more than enough options for me and is easy to see and use the functions. the tank to fill is easily filled, either using a pitcher or taking it to the water cooler and filling it outside the machine. I have no cons, at all, at this time. the physical size of the device and tank and bin are what they are and as is, is perfect on this unit. Too small is a personal preference and should never be rated as a CON, you cannot change it, if you want something bigger, buy a bigger ice machine. I like it a lot though a bit pricy, but the functions out strip some of the more basic machines and thus far I do recommend this.

Owning the other model of this ice maker I can say that this upgrade was totally worth it. Ecozy really hit the mark with this one. While still making the same quality pellet ice, several of the issues I had with the previous model have been addressed. Not only was it a chore to add water to the other model, it seemed like I was adding water every time we took ice. With the removable tank, adding water is not only easier as you no longer need to remove the ice bucket but it's also less frequent because the tank holds close to 2 liters. The way the ice drops into the bin now, when the full light is on, it truly means the bin is full and not just time to redistribute the mountain of ice that builds up in the center. After turning on the ice maker in about an hour I have a full bin of ice without the ice shuffle every 10 minutes. Finally the extra insulation that comes from setting the ice bucket back a bit does allow the ice to melt more slowly. However that seems to cause the ice to block up a bit and requires a little chopping with the scoop to break it up after sitting for a bit. This doesn't seem to happen with the other one, but is not that big of a deal as it breaks up easily.

Okay let me start with the whole idea of having a countertop ice maker sounds really cool! In reality it's just really not functional and is a gimmick! Don't get me wrong it will make ice within 6 to 7 minutes. But the quality of ice is lacking seriously! Even on the larger size Ice Cube it is very small! Smaller than the average normal Ice Cube! Along with that the Ice Cube comes out very very wet and not very frozen like a normal Ice Cube! Using the ice cubes will result in any drink to be deluded being that it melts very fast! Even if you have a beverage that has been in the refrigerator it melts quickly watering down your beverage! If you're going to use this ice for anything that has not been refrigerated beforehand it will melt immediately and leave you nothing but watered down or diluted beverage! As the basket gets slightly full the ice cubes at the bottom are literally melting away to nothing and the water from the melting is being recycled to make new ice cubes that are already melting coming out! I let the machine continue on to try to make a full basket of ice only to bag the ice to put in the freezer. That resulted in one big block of what looks like frozen melted ice being that the ice cubes are so wet coming out of the basket they all freeze together in one big block of ice! Yeah the concept seems really cool yet it's nothing more than a gimmick! Probably will be sending it back for a refund. Additionally the basket storage area is not well insulated so yes the ice melts even quicker being that it's not refrigerated or keeping cold! If you're intending to use these for alcoholic beverages probably not the best decision! If you're a bourbon or whiskey Drinker and like ice in your drink this will seriously water it down very very fast. That goes basically for anything you put this ice in even if it's been chilled or served at room temperature! I'm not all down on countertop ice makers yet I think one as this is is very cheap and you get what you pay for something that does not work very well at all! I would give it serious thinking to purchase this and waste your time resulting with wet ice and watered down beverage drinks! Oh yeah I live in Florida too and have my air conditioning on inside the house. So if you're going to use this Outdoors or in a warm house forget about it.

We have an in fridge ice maker, but it couldn't keep up with our ice usage so we had to buy ice from the store. Purchased this counter top ice maker. Its awesome highly recommend. Works great not to noisy makes ice in 6-13 min. I keep it on 24/7 and clean once a month.

Its a great Ice maker for nugget ice but I would advise on some kind of insurance plan or something as mine failed only after 3 months of use. I contacted ecozy support and they were very responsive and nice but after advising me on ways to fix/check the machine, to which none worked and they deemed it a malfunction product, they told me that I have to go through amazon to get a resolution on returning or refunding. I get this but I was out of the window for returns due to amazons policy (which is around 1 month I believe). It took a bit of back and fourth but the amazon rep was great and kind enough to seek approval for a return outside of window for me and made it happen. I honestly didn't think I would of had to go through a bit of hoops to seek a repair/replacement resolution after spending over $300 dollars for this product but I'll fault my self for not doing more due diligence. So in closing, great machine when it works but when it fails, be prepare to go back and fourth and hope you have cool enough reps to go the extra mile for you on a return if you are out of window unless you have an insurance plan which I would recommend on this product.
