I've purchased several of these for my different iPads and as gifts for friends. Easy to use anywhere - on a table, on your lap, in your hands. So versatile, well balanced. Also great drop protection for iPad. Battery lasts a long time. Keyboard is comfortable to use. I prefer the typecase without a trackpad but that's just a personal preference. Great value for money, looks terrific, nice color options, adjustable brightness. I've been happy I purchased extended protection as I've had a key top come loose and a battery lose charge after a few years of use. Overall a wonderful keyboard case, easy to install/take out iPad.

really easy to use and set up. keys haven’t lagged or jumped so far, and trackpad works well (a bit sensitive but its something i need to get used to). keys are quiet, so its great for school. the open motion is a bit stiff, but understandable as its a swivel joint. if you want to decorate it like me, stickers are easily able to be removed and reattached. i use this case with my screen protector and it gives it just enough room so that it doesn’t lift. Overall, very impressed so far.

I’ve been wondering lately if I could move all my lightweight computing needs onto iPad and ditch my heavy laptops. This case makes it possible. Despite the small size of the Typecase keyboard, my hard earned touch typing skills have been reborn. As convenient as the virtual keyboard on IPad can be for short, sporadic entries, anything longer than a sentence feels like a slog and slows me down. Now I can type on the iPad as fast as I think, which may not be all that fast for my wise-cracking friends, but is certainly leaps and bounds faster than the virtual keyboard. The twist style screen is a must. I can still use the iPad as a normal tablet and touch screen, which is often. When I need the keyboard, I spin it around and turn it on. It’s super fast. The multiple options for standing up the iPad screen are welcome. I use most of them often, so the case works great as a stand and has greatly improved the usability of the iPad. I can’t say I use the trackpad all the much. Most of the time I still use the touch screen as a kind of giant trackpad. It’s so close anyway. I just reach over and, you know, touch it. That said the Typecase trackpad is genuinely great and I do use it for sporadic situations. The keyboard isn’t quite ThinkPad level, but is good enough considering the shallow profile. I wish the keys were a softer touch or maybe even rubberized given the size. They feel a little slick compared to my laptops, but I will probably adjust over time. They’re perfectly functional, but don’t feel up to the build quality of the rest of the case. The case is indeed well built and solid. The iPad snaps right in. I feel extra secure closing the lid for the night and knowing the screen is protected now. The blue color I selected is beautiful and the Zagg stylus I bought for the holder looks right at home. The case comes pre-charged and the bluetooth setup is easy. I was running in maybe two minutes. I would definitely buy again from this company. Be aware that there is a second Typecase version that is similar to this case that uses a magnetic attachment. I prefer this snap-in version, but maybe I’m paranoid. My wife bought the magnetic version and it is a little sleeker and lighter. She’s super happy with that version. I still prefer my case when using it as a stand as it completely surrounds the case edges, but that is a minor point.

Easiest way to turn iPad into a computer!! So happy I made this purchase honestly. Swivels perfectly for my needs. The size is great for transporting places and the quality is great. I do wish somehow you could raise the screen up higher from the keyboard in the "typical" typing position but that's just me being picky. I still rate it 5 stars!
