I’ve ordered other knife sharpeners before and usually get mediocre results. This was not expensive and I did not have high expectations. But I am really impressed at the edge It puts on my pocket knives and kitchen knives. I think this may be the best knife sharpener I’ve ever purchased.

I’m loving this little thing so far made in Italy. It has done a good job of sharpening some chef’s knives, some pocket knives and a couple others. If your knife is in really bad shape it can leave some burrs in the process so please don’t run your finger over the side of the edge until you check for burrs. Ask me how I know this.

This item is not made to sharpen dull knives, it's made to remove burrs from knives that have already been ground.

It evens out the thickness of the blade edge and strips off unwanted metal effectively, quietly, efficiently and, relative to a whet stone job, safely.

The best sharpener I have ever had. Used it on kitchen knives, pocket knife, just great.

I wish it worked but it doesn't. The metal circles that are supposed to do the sharpening just don't work. I've had other older versions and they worked great. It's a shame.

It is somewhat difficult to find the old-school knife sharpeners. This was a great purchase and now our kitchen knives are finally sharp.
