I absolutely LOVE this salad spinner. As I'm getting older & wiser, I'm making a list of things everyone should have & this product is near the top of the list. It works really well getting the excess water off of the lettuce and the best thing I discovered this summer is that the lettuce seems to last a lot longer when I store it in this container in the crisper drawer of the fridge. I grew a lot of lettuce in my garden this summer, so much that I couldn't eat it fast enough & this product kept it clean, fresh & crisp. I raved about it so much to my mom & sister in law that they said they wanted one. So when I gave them each one for Christmas, you would've thought they won the lottery by their reactions! I can't say enough good things about this salad spinner & I love that it's collapsible for storage too. Great product! Never thought I'd be so excited about a salad spinner but as you get older, it's the little things that make a big difference.

Great for storage but doesn’t get the lettuce as dry as a non collapsible one because of the lack of holes

This product works great until the inner center piece on the lid starts to wear down. I was using it and the plastic started to strip off in a very thin piece into my lettuce. I unscrewed the cap on the center and there was white plastic dust all over. I ended up buying another one, hoping that it was just an issue with the first one I bought, but it happened again. I reached out to the company and they have ignored my email. Also, their listed phone number is disconnected. Defective product, poor customer service. Stay away. There’s another brand that has a collapsible salad spinner. I’ll try that one next.

It broke after a year and a half of infrequent use. I guess that’s longer than a lot of other reviewers have mentioned, but that still sucks.The actual collapsing motion requires a fair amount of force and I think that ultimately caused the flimsy connection between clear plastic & green silicone to fail. I cracked a small spot on the inner basket after like 3 uses but it never caused any issue with operation. But today I literally just picked it up off the drying rack and the bottom detached from the bowl.I really liked this salad spinner because it collapses to a flat state when not in use, which is great for my kitchen with limited storage. It also has a pretty large capacity. The handle for spinning is not the easiest to grip, especially with wet hands.This isn’t worth the steep price, that’s for sure. I think I got it on sale last summer for like $35, which seemed kinda spendy but I splurged on it. Today I winced when I saw the $45 price tag! That’s waaaay too much. Save your $ and buy a different one.

I like this salad spinner but the handle is not comfortable to spin. It works really well and is easy to clean. It cannot be put in the dishwasher, I learned that even though it said you could the inside basket gets warped. It happened after the return date so I was sorry that I purchased it.
