Amazing holster that anyone who carrys should own.
Great holster and for a great price. I bought this after finding a promotion from Uncle Mike's for a 50% rebate. This is my go to OTW (outside the waistband) holster. I really like that the holster came with a paddle attachment as well as a belt slide attachment. The holster provides great retention for your firearm with virtually no risk of it falling loose. The only way to remove the firearm from the holster is to twist the firearm towards your body. With the firearm unloaded and safe I had a friend try to pull the firearm from the holster. He wasn't able to pull the firearm out from the front, to my right side, or from behind me.With proper training the firearm can quickly be drawn, IMO, faster than a traditional holster with a snap or strap over the grip.I would recommend this holster to anyone who requires a solid and secure holster for their firearm.

Sturdy, high quality holster - great holster for the price
Got the size 10 for my Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm. Took it through a 4-day handgun course involving drawing from the holster and re-holstering probably in the hundreds of repetitions. Initial thoughts: The retention system involves canting the handgun once you have a grip on it inwards towards your body before it will release. Once you get used to this modification to your drawstroke, it doesn't slow down the draw much at all. Reholstering is easy, just goes straight in. The holster comes with hardware for either using belt loops, or in paddle configuration. I chose to use the paddle configuration as I didn't want to have to take my belt off every time I needed to put the holster on or take it off. The paddle holds the holster very solidly if you slip it over the belt and pant waist.Cons: The holster has some hard edges that become apparent after a few draw strokes. After the end of the first day I was noticing that the 2nd knuckle of my middle finger was developing scrapes which by the end of the 4th day had begun to bleed and was quite uncomfortable. Grinding down the corner with sandpaper may help but I didn't have sandpaper handy to test it out. Like any other Outside the Waist Band holster, concealment isn't great. It sticks out enough that an untucked shirt won't cover it up very well. With a jacket you should be fine though (but again, that'd be the case for almost every OWB holster). Conclusion: For what you get for the price, Uncle Mike's is hard to beat.

Great concept, but not a great fit for the M&P
I'm rather upset about my experience with this product...I was genuinely hoping it would be more positive. i truly like the retention design of this holster, unfortunately it's just not a good fit for my S&W M&P.A holster is an important purchase, one that you must be confident with. Using this holster, I found that my M&P felt loose; though the retention was engaged, but would rattle when seated. There is also a large gap (~1") between the end of my weapon and the base of the holster (I thought it looked sloppy). The holster itself seems a little bulky, since I get the impression that a portion of it is one-size fits all, with only a "custom sized" outer shell...it seems that the added bulk comes from this.Overall, I liked the holsters retention design/function, but can't get past the loose rattling of my weapon when holstered. I just can't feel confident in the design without my weapon being securely seated in place. Maybe another weapon would have a better result.

Very Nice
Please see my video review.I was torn between this holster and a Fobus Roto for my M&P Shield 9mm. I went with the Uncle Mike's, as it was a bit less expensive. I really like the retention system that this holster has. You just rotate the pistol grip toward your body and draw straight up. I attached the included paddle attachment and it installed easily and is very robust. I will admit, it is a pain to get the paddle portion of the holster down my waistline because it is such a secure fit; but that is a good thing. I bought this holster exclusively for range use, as it is not concealable at all. Here's my synopsis of the holster:Pro's:Rugged, sturdy constructionVery secure when attached to belt or using paddle attachmentExcellent weapon retentionSolid "click" when placing pistol in the holsterCant-angle and ride-height is fully adjustableCon's:Not concealableHave to fight to get the holster seated in pants when using paddle attachmentOverall, a great range holster and I see this thing lasting quite some time. I would give it 5 stars had it not been for the difficulty experienced trying to get the paddle secured into my waist. Other than that, I definitely recommend this holster.UPDATE: After using this holster on the range, I would have to give this holster two stars. I completely shredded the knuckle on my middle finger trying to get this gun out of the holster. You must rotate the gun in the holster in order to release the retention system. The problem is, if you have big hands (like me), It is impossible to accomplish this without tearing up your knuckle. I was a bloody mess after completing my off-duty weapons qual.

O.K. for the money
This is my first hard plastic (kydex) holster. It works fine when I am shooting at the range standing up. It is quite uncomfortable wearing itwhile sitting in the car, there is no "give" to it. It does hold the firearm in very well, you just have to give it a slight inward twist to remove it.It seems to be longer than needed for my Taurus PT-111 G2. There are no adjustments regarding the tension holding the firearm. There are several adjustments to the angle. A paddle is included to replace the belt attachment. I tried the paddle first, but couldn'tfind any easy way to attach that around my pants. I think it would hold securely if you can make it work.
