Nice set of cards as expected from Bicycle.American Flag theme is a bonus.

I got these for my son and heoves them. They really do look old and from the early days of America but they are brand new. Good quality cards.

These cards are gorgeous. Often when Bicycle produces these “different” type decks, the intention is to hold/look at a creative piece of art but trying to use them for, you know, actually playing cards goes out the window. The colors are too dark or the designs make it too hard to discern what you’re looking at but not these cards. The backs have the style of the Civil War or postbellum, Americana with fluttering flags and eagles in all their glory. All of the cards have a smokey grey haze which really make the muted reds and blues actually pop. The face cards look like they’d be played in a back alley along the Bowery while the small cards all have stars in their suits. A major plus for card deck collectors or just to look at something pretty as your three of a kind loses to a flush.

I don't know why but I decided to collect some of these playing cards that looked cool. I have no intention of actually using them or even opening them so I can't really review them, but legendary bicycle quality assures at least they should be great if I ever do open them.

It was a gift to my nephew

These are beautiful cards but the face is an ivory rather than bright white. So they are a bit hard to read but we have gotten used to them now. Nice sturdy playing cards.
