Beefy, Heavy Metal Case. That’s A Good Thing.
There’re a few really good things about this multi-outlet surge protector: First, it’s a Belkin. Second, the cord is long and heavy, not flimsy. Third, 10 outlets (but, be careful. Likely as not, you don’t want to have ten of anything running at once on a circuit). Fourth and best of all, the case is metal, not plastic. The metal case makes this ideal for a special grounding application I have. Very good product for the price.

Well rounded surge protector
These surge protectors are classic and well rounded pieces of equipment. High quality materials, does it’s job, no frills. The outlets are spaced out enough to fit a few things easily. If you have bulky chargers, they will all still fit for the most part. The cord length is more than long enough, I haven’t needed anything longer yet. I’ve bought two of them for how versatile they are.The surge protector also has some mounting points on the back so you can easily mount them on the wall if needed.Value I think is pretty good! For the quality of materials, and versatility, you can’t find much better for the price. They are on the more expensive side for a surge protector, but I expect to use it 5-10 years from now. Let’s hope those materials hold up over time because they’re very nice.

Amazing!
Has an amazing feel to it, the switch feels big and beefy. I never thought I would care about how a outlet box felt but this thing set the bar extremely high.

One of the best power strips and protectors.
I had three others. One just went mostly out only two outlets were working. my older ones are about 27 years old. So far only lost one. Powered my entertainment center so used heavily every day. Also use another for my amps, pedals, recorder, and PA. Also used for my compuer set up and all the other stuff I have plugged in including my surveillance system. These are heavy duty industrial and I consider them the best. When we moved in to our house there was a problem with the main electrical underground cable running to the house. The insulation was cracked and during a rain storm we lost voltage but had amperage. Two other brand protectors shorted, arched loudly and caught fire about 1am. One was in the master bedroom and scared the hell out of me. Got them both unplugged, fires out and saved our house. DIDN'T even faze these. I'll continue to purchase these strips as long as the retain the high quality I've come to expect from them.

This is my second one, these things are great and worth every penny.
Second purchase. I now have two and the one I bought 5 years ago still works great and currently is plugged in and on. I have over $20,000 worth of electronics plugged into both of these right now. I have had power outages without any damage to my equipment. The Belkins are worth every penny and are heavy, sturdy, well made surge protectors. You can feel that this is a separate beast than the cheap plastic surge protectors you are used to. I stubbed my toe on it once. If you hit someone with the cord they would suffer blunt force trauma in addition to whip damage. I ran a server that was on for five years straight off one of these, and now it is currently running a 7.1 surround video game room that is plugged in to the max. The server is being powered and trusted to this exact new Belkin I just bought.Buy it.

Super sturdy!
I got this for my WFH setup. It's plugged into a 30A appliance circuit and I mounted it to the wall behind my desk. The weight and heft of this item is impressive. It's like having 5 power outlets in a box.Four stars because each time I activate the motor to raise and lower the desk, my monitor blacks out for a split second. I am not sure if that is the surge protection working or what, but it seems like it's probably not good for the equipment.

Best Power Strip For Analog Audio Components
I mounted this power strip to the underside of one of the shelves of a wooden component stand that I built to hold all of my vintage analog audio components: some turntables, a receiver, and an old tube amp - some valuable stuff. There're two lips on either side of the metal case; I drilled four holes, two per side, then mounted it to the shelf using woodscrews. I oriented in such a way so that it's completely hidden from view and yet the ON/OFF switch is still easily accessible from the side.I'm always fretting over electrical storms when it comes to my vintage electronics, and even though this thing has surge protection, I still want to be able to cut ALL POWER going to the components by turning off the ON/OFF switch during the times when not in use. I know then that no lightning storm-type power surges can cause any damage. As for the strip itself:It's metal. It's heavy duty. The ON/OFF switch is BIG and easy to find, and it has a quality feel to it when I flip it on and off.The cord is REALLY long. This is nice since I don't have to run a heavy duty extension cord to the surge protector from an outlet located 6 feet away.10 outlets are just enough (12 would have been better). It has an old-school look that matches the character of my vintage audio components (even though it's completely hidden from sight).Highly Recommended!
