I was gifted two very tiny hummingbird feeders awhile back, but I got frustrated with how often they needed to be filled. I spent weeks looking through reviews of bigger hummingbird feeders, and it seemed that every single one had problems - either they would break or leak. I decided that since there were no other good options, I might as well go with the diy one that would let me have the size I wanted.The lid itself is sturdy and fits on easily. The only real problem is that it does leak - not enough to be a major problem for me, but definitely something I'll want to try and fix before next summer when the wasps come back.The two accessories that came with (The netting and the little 3 armed strap to hold them together) did not work at all. I was prepared for this, and instead rigged the feeder up with sturdy nylon string. I did not even attempt the suction cup since other reviewers have reported that it's not strong enough to hold the feeder, and I prefer having my bird feeding station further away from the house.With all that said, I do intend to one or two more, once I manage to stop the leaking. It's such an inexpensive option for how much hummingbird food it holds, and will be easily replaceable if anything ever does happen to it.

As some have stated, the feeder leaks pretty bad. The bottom is removable for cleaning. It just snaps in place and will leak.. sometimes badly. I will attempt to place some cellophane on the bottom part before I join the parts to see if that will seal the gap. Otherwise it is pretty useless. Had high hopes for this as we tire from having to clean the bottle.

So easy to use. We did have to improvise a bit so we could hang it. We now have one male Ruby Throat and 3 females who visit it regularly. He will run the girls off but they come right back!

I haven’t found a bottle to attach to the base. So far I’ve sat it on a surface to use.

I would have given 5 stars if it would use any standard bottle, but only works with Pepsi products. The hangers junk also.

The hummers love it for the foot rests!!!
