Growing son loves his Peg Perego booster! Mom happy with side impact protection and Euro slim style.
My son outgrew his carseat and we thought we would stick to the same brand but discovered it didn't provide side-impact protection. This Peg Perego model DOES! And it is Italian made and shows it! Clips on securely with seat belt guides to make buckling up a cinch, even for the little one who is wanting to be more independent and responsible. Great features are height adjustment, recline (slight but effective) and that you can adjust without uninstalling the booster.I use it with the back for now but it can also be used without the back as my son grows up. Cup holders on each side are ok, not as deep as I'd like but they do hold an insulated water bottle just fine. Our middle seat in the rear does interfere with the cup holder so it was very thoughtful design that the manufacturers put a cup holder on both sides. It tucks neatly into the seat when not in use and is very easy to clean. For it's style, quality of materials, durable construction, variety and ease of adjustments, comfortable ride, and of course, the side-impact protection provided, I am incredibly pleased with our Peg Perego booster. So thrilled!

Comfortable and perfect for kids that fall asleep
💯 worth the extra money!! I needed a high back booster for my 7 year old but one that has plenty of padding and could keep her in the right position when she fell asleep. It has been super comfortable, easy to pop in, has a tilt option to fit into our seat better, the arm rests are nice and the pop out cup holders work well. She has fallen asleep on trips and it has never allowed her to slouch forward. I will for sure but this again when the time comes for our other kids.

No 5 point harness
Like most of the parents I did extended research on car seats before making my choice. I ordered from Amazon: Britax Frontier 90, Clek Oobr Booster Car Seat, Peg Perego Viaggio HBB 120, and Britax Parkway SGL Belt-Positioning Booster Seat. Out of the 4 I like the most Peg Perego. It would be the perfect booster if has a 5 point harness. Britax Frontier 90 has a 5 point harness and it seams well padded, but is way too bulky, very heavy, and the fabric is not as nice as the Peg Perego. Clek Oobr is probably the sturdiest, heavy, but has no 5 point harness. Britax Parkway SGL is flimsy and the fabric is cheap. I'll keep the Peg Perego for now, but I'm still researching for the best booster seat.

Seat seems a little more loose than I would have expected
Love the brand. We bought the Viaggio Convertable for my daughter and I wanted to stick with the same brand for the booster seat. I was back and forth on whether or not to get the backless, but I also wanted her to sit up in the car instead of falling over on long car rides. I like that it has the latch connectors, but I feel like the seat itself is loose. Maybe because the back doesn’t have a latch holding it in place like an actual car seat.Putting it together was pretty easy. I like that it turns into just a booster seat. The seatbelt straps at the top are great because my daughter is short so her just sitting in the seat had the seatbelt going across her body pretty high. We’ve had it for a little over a week and my daughter loves it. I’ve asked multiple times if the seat itself is comfortable and if it hurts her and she says it’s confortable. Haven’t heard a complain from her yet.One thing I don’t like and it’s probably with all boosters, but the handles. They’re in the way when your child is trying to buckle. It takes her a good minute to buckle by herself. Maybe it’s my seats, but the handles make it hard to see the buckle.Overall I think it’s a good booster. Nice and light. Easy to change from my car to my husbands. It’s not too bulky. The fabric is nice.

Selected for our toddler after much research
We tried two other toddler seats before settling for this one.The first GRACO, felt flimsy, the second DIONO, the sides felt like blinders, just too closed and narrowing, and finally, settled on Peg Perego Viaggio HBB, after many, many reviews being read.Three reasons we settled on this seat:1) While it has the side support, it flares out just enough for the our child to have a view from both sides. He still needs to bring his head forward to look out, but it's not like blinders. Also, the sides flaring out feel less closed off and more roomy.2) seat latching to the car3) arms rest are short and lower, so don't confine child and push his elbows up higher than they need to beReason for 4 stars1) seat doesn't allow for adjusting the seat belt strap up or down from the shoulder, which really should be an option for all seats. We're happy with it.
