Works very well
This stuff works really well, using it it RV to hold things in place. Impressed to say the least

Nice gel and works ok, but wax still better
This museum gel is nice enough and works ok, but I honestly still like the wax better. The wax kind of hardens a bit and is a bit tackier. This gel does the job but I just don’t feel that my item is secure like I do with the wax. The price is just ok for this as well, comparable to a wax. It is clear, and does the job though so I can’t complain.

Haven't found a successful use application yet
This museum gel has a promising description for someone that wants to have nice things in a house with little tasmanian devils - it'll supposedly keep things in place but isn't permanent, can be reused, and won't damage anything. Feeling the texture of the gel it seems promising because it's similar in consistency to the little rubber glue balls you find in packaging. That said so far I haven't had luck getting it to work:Pros:- Clear and scentless- Leaves no residue on your fingers, the surface or the objects. Easy to repositionCons:- According to the instructions it takes 30 minutes to an hr to set up, so whatever you're using needs to essentially be on a shelf, table, etc and this is only there for emergencies.USE CASES:- [FAIL]: Positioning lightweight plastic greenery on surfaces (eg. Acrylic tub, gloss painted mantel). The primary problem seems to be the hold time to set up but there's not enough tackiness to keep the surfaces 'mated' until it sets, even using temporary push racks to assist- [FAIL]: Adhering nature objects to a velvet backed display case. Again the challenge seems to be textured surfaces and getting everything to mate until set.-[TBD] Photo album use and vases on mantle. To be updated if I discover that these work and/or that there is a learning curve or trick that fixes the above scenarios.
