Fun toy for any age!
This toy was easy to assemble and worked well as two swords or together as one. The lights were bright and easy to use.

Save your money, or buy something else
Poor quality, needs battery's... pointless purchase. Do not recommend.

Fun
This toy is fun and it’s nice that this package contains two swords so you’re ready to play. I am disappointed that the lights are much lighter than what is pictured, making it less exciting if playing outside in daytime. Also, you cannot control what color is on as it changes with movement; for some this is fun but others really want it to stay their favorite color. These are fairly fragile and probably best used by older children who understand how to always be gentle with them.

Great for what it is, a few quirks but good overall
This is a low-cost set of two "space swords." They extend and retract telescopically, they play sounds when turned on and light up, changing colors when they sense impact. They are sized for children, although an adult could use it too as a sort of shorter sword. Overall, this is a good toy for a kiddo in the right age range. Not too young, you don't want anything to be broken or anyone to get hurt, and not too old because these are not particularly functional or high quality, in terms of movie prop replicas / imitations. These are an excellent value and, with their price range in mind, they'll make a great gift for a little one, or maybe an accessory for a costume, or something like that. I do have a few quirks and complaints, mostly related to quality and design choices. Six AAA batteries is quite a bit, it may be inconvenient to keep AAAs in stock (or charged up). The batteries are hard to remove, they sit really deep into the handle, hard to access and pull out properly. The telescoping blade has a tough "sweet spot" to find, often it ends up too tight so that it's hard to retract, other times it's too loose and it collapses accidentally. And of course, this does not seem particularly durable -- it can take a few hits, but it will not last years if it's put to use hitting anyting. All of those are exctly what I expect at this price point. The intent of this item is to be a low-cost accessory or toy, and all of that is fine. My one frustration is that it changes colors whenever it is impacted. I can't stop that -- no instructions, I can't find any information about whether/how to change that. Maybe I'll pull them apart and rewire them. If I want it to be red, I don't want it to change every time I hit something, or cough, or swing it a bit too quickly, or whatever. (One of my swords is also much more sensitive than the other, so if I link them together and match up their colors, they quickly come out of sync and are different.) That one single issue is the only one, for the price, that I'd expect to be fixed, but here's my major concern, the reason I have to give 4 stars only -- this is going to be a BIG issue for kiddos who want their sword to be their favorite color, the color of their favorite character's sword, the color to match their Halloween costume, etc. -- you can't make it work that way. If I mod this and get it to work, maybe I'll update the post, but just for information - it would still be 4 stars.

2 Packs Light Up Sword: A Colorful and Fun Toy for Our Son
We got the 2 Packs Light Up Sword for our son, who has autism, and it has quickly become one of his favorite toys. He loves the vibrant colors and the sounds that come with the swords, making them an exciting sensory experience for him. The retractable feature adds to the fun, and he enjoys swinging both swords around, especially when the LED lights shine in different colors. It’s amazing to watch him light up with joy every time he plays with them, whether he's running around or simply admiring the lights. One of his favorite things to do with the swords is lie down and look at the lights as they change colors. The glow effect is soothing for him, and it seems to provide a sense of calm. The sound effects are just the right balance—entertaining without being overwhelming. It’s clear that these swords provide him with a great way to engage with his environment while stimulating his visual and auditory senses. We love that the swords are durable and easy to use, with the retractable feature making them both fun and safe to play with. The fact that we have two swords means he can play with one in each hand, creating even more excitement. This toy has definitely become a daily part of his routine, and we’re happy it brings him so much joy. Overall, the 2 Packs Light Up Sword is a wonderful toy for any child who enjoys sensory play, colors, and sounds. It’s been a great addition to our son’s collection, and I highly recommend it for kids who enjoy interactive and visually stimulating toys.

Get what you pay for
One worked. The other didn’t. But they’re low cost, so I didn’t expect much

Low cost, big fun
They're not the super expensive light saber, but they're perfect for kids to sample. They come in a pack of two, and they should be able to handle kids play. The really cool part is that you can twist and connect them to make a lightsaber staff, which adds an extra element of fun. These lightsabers light up with multiple colors and have sound effects. They have a toggle switch to turn them on, which isn't a push button but a switch you slide back and forth. When you turn them on, they make a buzzing energy sound. When you tap them together or on something else, the color changes to purple, green, red, yellow, or white. The lightsabers also extend and retract a bit, making them shorter or longer as needed. The sounds are great—they make an electronic power-up noise that really adds to the play experience. They're lightweight, and the quality is pretty good for the price. They're perfect for kids who want to play with lightsabers without worrying about breaking the more expensive ones. Plus, with the ability to combine them into a staff, there's even more versatility in how they can be used. Each saber takes 3AAA batteries, but the box says 2AA.
