Excellent Leak Detection System — Reliable and Easy to Use I purchased the Hub + 4 Leak Sensors to monitor areas in my townhouse that are prone to moisture issues—under the HVAC unit, washer/dryer, refrigerator, and in the basement. After using them, I’m extremely impressed. Here’s what stood out: 👍 Easy Setup The installation was quick and straightforward. Each sensor paired with the hub without any trouble. 📱 Convenient Remote Monitoring The app makes it simple to check all sensors from anywhere, which gives me real peace of mind when I'm not home. 🚨 Accurate Alerts and Great Sound Quality The sensors react immediately to water. I had a real incident where my heating system’s pump failed on a very cold day. The device detected the leak instantly, and the app notification prompted me to call the HVAC technician before the situation worsened. Compact but Powerful The sensors are small enough to fit into tight spaces while still delivering strong performance. Their size makes placement very flexible. As I mentioned in my valve controller review, as a child we had old water lines burst in our home, leading to massive damage. Ever since then I have been concerned with the same thing happening in my adult home. Finally, during a Prime Day sale I discovered the YOLink leak detection system. I combined this system with the Valve Controller to set up a smart system that will shut off my home's water if any leak is detected. That system starts here with the sensors and smart hub. I have placed a sensor under each sink and toilet fixture in my house. They also make "rope" sensors which are good to use around water heaters and under dishwashers and washing machines. They all work great. They were a breeze to configure with the smart hub. I tested each one and they all alerted as expected with a loud beep and messages to my phone. I will be purchasing more of these during the next Prime Day sale for use in my rental property as well. Highly recommend!

The hub was easy to set up and connect the individual sensors. The app is well designed and was helpful with setup process. The sensors are attractive and fairly small so they aren't distracting like the older battery-powered water sensors we previously had. I like that the sensors can detect water from the top or bottom. Tested them out by dripping some water on and around them and they alarmed and sent a notification through the app quickly. You really can't ask for more: easy to set up, attractive, effective, and reasonably priced.

i have 8 of these spread through the house. water heaters, bathrooms, washer pans, AC pans, etc. they work great and are great peace of mind. oldest ones i've had are over two years and battery's still show strong. really quick and easy setup. I like that you don't even need a hub to connect them. also very impressed with how quick they alert. within a second or two of detection i'll get a push notification, text, and an email, pretty much simultaneously. luckily i haven't needed them for antyhing major yet, but they have helped alert me to minor leaks that could have definitely been more trouble than they were if i had gone a while not knowing about them. cheap insurance. get a bunch. toss em everywhere.

YoLink got this design right. And I am not saying this lightly. I tried out a few different products and built my own Arduino-based versions. Yolink put together a small, unobtrusive device with exchangeable batteries (that upon my measurements so far are are likely to last years). It's straight forward to setup and possible to integrate into Home Assistant - and via the Homebridge into HomeKit. I would love to see that last integration available natively. Hint.. hint.. to the product design/requirements team. This is a cheap investment to avoid major water damage in your home. I got a few and located them in all the likely indoor leak places, under sinks, dish washer, washing machine, fridge/freezer. Strangely it was cheaper to buy a second set of six that include a hub than just an additional six - Alas, now I have a backup hub, in case the first one ever fails me :-)

In my opinion this is a great system for leak detection. It was super easy to set up, and I had zero issues connecting any of the sensors. They all work throughout my house and the range is a huge plus. The app is easy to use and when I tested the sensors they immediately detected water. I would highly recommend YoLink for a leak detection system.

These have worked very well for me and alerted me to a leak in my boiler before it became worse. Great easy to use product.
