Works as advertised, but drains slow
I got this stopper for my older bathtub.I wanted it mainly to keep small objects like shampoo caps from going down the drain and plugging it.Being able to stop the drain with my toe is a little less important.First, the stopper was a perfect fit. Just dropped it in with the right size washer (comes with 3) and push it snuggly into the drain. The shiny chrome finish looks contemporary and professional.Push down with my toe and the flow stops. Push again and it drains. My only issue is the stopper presents a little too much of a restriction, even when the stopper is raised.During a shower the water accumulates in the tub.I hate sloshing around in the water while I am taking a shower. But, as long as it's catching hair and preventing small object from going down the drain it's earning its keep.I think this stopper is a good value for keeping stuff from plugging the drain.

Simple and Effective
Installation was quick and easy, no tools required basically plug and go. It fit perfectly in my tub’s drain and doesn't move around. The stopper functions smoothly, allowing water to fill the tub without any leakage, and it pops up easily with just a light push. The seal is excellent, keeping water in the tub during long baths but it does drain slower than my old one. I love the sleek design, which looks modern and blends well with my bathroom fixtures. It’s easy to clean and seems durable enough to last a long time.

Challenging to adjust
I got this to replace a lift-and-turn tub metal stopper, which was a total hassle to remove when I needed to clear the tub drain. This drop-in, pop-up style is both easier to deal with and nicer looking. But it is a little challenging to adjust "perfectly" so it 1) seals completely; and 2) opens fully.Out of the box, it was absolutely wrong in how it was set up: the popped-down position had about a half-inch still wide open for water to flow through. No instructions with the stopper, so it was just a matter of fiddling with a tiny screw on the post and also screwing in/out the top. Finally I found a position that sealed when closed yet gave enough clearance when open to drain water fairly well.NOTE: After getting this adjusted as well as I could, I tested it by filling the tub to about 4 inches (fully over the drain) and waiting it out. Eventually----after a couple of hours---the water did drain out regardless of the plug being closed. Now, I didn't bother testing it with a full tub of water, and the additional water pressure might help seal the plug perfectly. I don't even care that it lets water drip through that slowly, I'm not using my tub like an emergency water trough!
