I recently picked up the Masterplug HDPT13B-MP Heavy Duty Rewireable Plug and I've gotta say it’s been a game changer for my projects. I’ve been doing a bunch of DIY work around the house and had some older equipment that needed a sturdy plug to keep up with everything. This one fits the bill perfectly.The first thing I noticed was how well-built it feels. The size is just right at 57.5 x 48 mm and it really gives you that solid grip when you’re plugging and unplugging. It's got a nice weight to it that makes you feel like it can handle just about anything you throw at it. I used it for my heavy-duty extension cord and it did not flinch under the load.Rewiring it was super straightforward. I’m not an electrician but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I really appreciated the attention to detail in the design. The terminals were accessible and there was enough room for my wires without cramming. Plus, the screw fittings held everything securely in place which made me feel a lot more confident about safety.I've had it in use for a couple of months now and there’s no sign of wear and tear. good quality solid looking plug that I used on a european appliance for the kitchen which would be on show at countertop height. Looks safe and rugged and like a factory fitted one.

To be fair, as far as reviews go, this isn't going to win any awards. I ordered a plug for an outside light. I searched on Amazon for a plug, found plenty, all had zero reviews. This is my review...Its a decent plug. Its solid, well put together, has a fuse, all the pins are rock solid and the plastic, to be fair is pretty ok. The quality of the screw to hold it together is decent and best of all, it works.So if your in the market for a plug that does what you want to it to do, and that is to plug into the wall socket, then this is the plug for you.Its cheap, it works, and it now has a review, which is probably more than a lot of plugs have on here.10/10 plug

I purchased this to replace a moulded toaster plug which has shed its earth pin. It’s ok, but not the most convincing plug ever. The materials seem good enough, though I can see that the cord grip screw threads might easily strip. It has a very large cable opening through which some of the plug internals including the metal glint of the live pin end seem to be visible. I’ll probably look for a better plug and replace it again as this does not seem safe to me.
