Excellant Butter Dish
Keeps butter at a reasonable temperature, winter summer. We use two. One in use other ready to go in fridge, then swap over to clean and refill.Is effective at keeping butter solid, longer, during those very very hot summer days.Easy to clean using dish washer and stylish looks adds to the overall package.

We've searched and searched for a butter dish and I am so glad I decided to buy this one despite the seriously high price tag it came with. A butter dish is a sort of investment if you think about it. You will be using it daily and you will put it on the table when you have guests. it therefore must be durable as well as look good. This dish tick all the boxes. It also keep the butter cold outside the fridge.

Well made and nice looking.
Well made and a nice looking butterdish. I tend to leave it in the fridge until I want to use it and then take out a few minutes beforehand. The odd occasion I left it out of the fridge the butter went soft, but that was way back when we had some warm weather! I tend to find that butter goes soft anyway whatever receptacle is used. If you like to gave your butterdish not he table at mealtimes, this would it look out of place.

Nice but lid knob fell off
It is a good quality dish, but one time in the dishwasher and the knob came off the lid. So for this reason I had to throw it out and give it 3*s. Otherwise, I did find it kept the butter cooler and was a good quality look and weight.

Doesn't do as it says.
Sales details states keeps butter at even temperature when out of the fridge, when room warm butter too soft, when room cold, butter too hard. Expensive item could have bought lot cheaper one that does same job.

Already rusted
I bought this to replace my 15 year old Lakeland one that had sadly rusted at the bottom of the dish where the butter sits. This dish looked fancier but it is not deep enough and butter gets on the lid, making it messy to use. I’ve had this less than 6 months and the bottom (under the butter) has already rusted. Do not waste your money.
