I purchased this light stand / tripod after being disappointed by other similar products to use it with studio flashes from Godox and an Elgato Ring light that came with another kind of stand. I needed this version that it's easier to carry around for it's compact size and built quality, both important characteristics when you trust your expensive gear to this kind of stand. It's sturdy enough to support my 4 pounds Godox SK400 II studio strobe with ease. It feels solid and well constructed and very easy to use and it's not too heavy to carry it around to different shooting locations.I just love it and highly recommend it for prosumer and even pro use.

Nice lightweight and fully functional light stand. When fully retracted it’ll fit in a drawer. Works out perfectly to hold my Neweer LED RGB light. Retracts nice and holds the light up very high and stable with adjustable angled legs for stability.

I am using this every day . Very sturdy.

I start trusting the Neewer brand. It is almost heavy-duty. It was priced better than its competitor. I like the legs. It is compact when folded and sturdy when needed.

I purchased this for my led light. It is quite strong, yet light weight. Easy to move around. Erognomic and easy adjustments. Price is a good value.

Probably one of the weakest light stands I've ever purchased. I put a 60W light on it and it can barely support it without the stand collapsing into itself. I should've returned it but it's probably too late. Disappointing since most of the stuff I've purchased from Neewer has been top notch. They missed the mark with this, though.

Unfolds easily, holds well in place. Good fit for moderately tight spaces if needed.

For the price, and purpose -works great. -It is meant for a light weight load; and not for a heavy set up.
