Buy one while you still can
I have previously had a number of Lowepro camera bags and the quality is always superb. My first backpack-type was the Pro Trekker 650 AW I (I think that is the model number) which is a huge pack allowing the carrying of most of my kit. The only issue is that as I get older I cannot carry all of the kit any more. I now use it more for storage and as a 'safe haven' for kit I have with me in the car but not out on walks.I have been using a cheaper brand for a couple of years which is now starting to fail. With this in mind I bought the ProTactic 450 AW II. This is superbly made, comes with a rain cover, as do most Lowepro bags, a tripod foot holder which you can place anywhere on the bag, and extra small pouches that will fit on the outside of the bag. It also contains a couple of strong straps that can be placed where required. You can access from the top and either side for individual cameras/lenses, or from the rear for access to the whole internal structure. Zips are large and string. The padded dividers are strong and useful and can be placed to your liking within the large interior. It is strong, well padded to protect your kit and very functional. What is more I can carry enough kit needed for whatever trip I am on while not breaking my back. There is an updated version of this bag available now, but for the price difference I do not see the point of paying £100 more for what seems like little extra. Because of the new version this one is now available at a very good price.Overall, a superb bag which I cannot recommend highly enough.

Huge and well worth the money
I’ve upgraded from the 350,AW2 and it was worth the extra money spent this is much bigger unit with upgraded curved partitions. It easily takes a Nikon Z9 with the 180-600 attached (not including the lens hood). Lots more storage on the outside, and the access points are huge so it’s easy to get to equipment quickly. There is only one negative and that’s with the waist strap. My 350 has vip up storage on waist strap snd I used them on. Regular basis, but these are missing in the 450-3. But other than that it’s a great piece of kit. It’s not cheap but neither is the equipment that I put in it. The padding is excellent and the whole pack is extremely well made

Solidly built camera backpack
I bit the bullet and finally bought a decent purpose designed camera backpack after upgrading my photography gear & having multiple lenses. This fits my Canon R6ii with attached grip, & an RF200-800 attached. Also in the bag is my MacBook Pro 16”laptop, RF 100-500L, RF 70-200L & RF 24-105L lenses, multiple batteries, memory card storage wallets, card readers, binoculars, Peak Design slide strap, Outdoor Photography Gear Neoprene covers & Waterproof camera/lens cover, cleaning gear, connecting/charging leads, power bank & business cards, amongst other bits I’ve no doubt forgot to mention. A really well made backpack, good quality & comfortable to wear all day out in the field with a 3LT Winston CF tripod & Gimbal attached.Highly recommended

Close but no cigar
For what I need, it’s just a shade too small, literally by a litre or two. However, it is comfortable, well made and offers ample protection. Great for travelling and every available space has been utilised.

Excellent camera bag
I was hesitant about the cost of the backpack, but it is very well made and you can fit tonnes of stuff in it.It's very comfortable to wear when you're all loaded up too.

The product works as described and is well manufactured. Highly recommended!
The first Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW II Black Pro Modular Backpack, which I received, had a material defect along the main zip and was also missing some accessories. After much wrangling, Amazon eventually replaced it with a flawless replacement, which works very well and is highly recommended.

Best Camera travel case I've ever owned
Quick access to my camera with a 28-70F2 lens which is a beast. Plenty of customisable storage. Carry two cameras, prime and back up, with 28-70, 70-200, 100-400 lens, charger, batteries, microphone and still space for my lunch when out and about. Even strap my tripod and water bottle to the side no problem. Love the security aspect too, i.e. you need to remove bag to open up from behind. Bar the side access areas to get to the camera in need it quick situations. Highly recommended.
