The Amazon Basics Cat Litter Mat does a good job of trapping litter and keeping the area around the litter box cleaner. The size is great (61 x 88.9 cm), and the gray color blends well with most home decor.It’s soft on my cat’s paws, and the material is easy to clean—just shake it out or vacuum. It’s not the thickest mat, but for the price, it’s a solid and practical choice.

My cat isn't the brightest spark and seems to think he can bury his turds by getting out of the litter box and kicking the carpet. This prevents my carpet from getting wrecked and functions quite well in catching any litter that follows him out. Easy to clean, scentless and cheap. No complaints

It's a really great size that's perfect for a litter tray on, it's design is made up of like a threaded net material that catches the litter in so you can pick it out. One issue would be it can be hard to clean because things get caught in the fibers.

This mat has been used on the floor under the cat litter tray and I'm very satisfied with it. I was surprised to see it isn't washable in a washing machine but it does it's job very well. More than anything else I think it's the material it's made of which is the big advantage. It's kind of floppy and almost rubbery to feel, but the mat edges stay to the floor, so no tripping up and it mostly catches the overspill from our cats vigorous digging. A dustpan and brush takes care of clearing up the overspill but any tiny bits of dust will readily come out if you shake and beat the mat. It's generous size was a pleasant surprise as our cat has a large litter tray. We have the mat in grey and it fades into the floor cover colouring nicely. All in all it was an excellent purchase and I'm very happy with it.

This mat is decent and helps reduce the amount of litter tracked outside the box, but it's a bit too large—10cm shorter in both length and width would have been better. While it does catch litter effectively, cleaning it out of the mat isn’t as easy as expected, which undermines its convenience. It works, but it's not perfect.

I have to say this mat is a game changer it works a treat if your cat is a flicker like mine this mat catches the cat litter its very easy to keep clean with disinfectant mild solution as its rubber its large as the measurements suggest i use mine with a litter box but would work with an ordinary litter box but if you are useing an ordinary open litter box some of the litter will fly over the matt afterall litter is basicly little bricks lol well sort of a litter box is a game changer used with this matt no mess lol if you do change to a litter box and your cat does not like the front flap just take ut off thats what i had to do but this matt is brilliant hygenic and safe
