Why did you pick this product vs others?: These died after less than a month in blink cameras that were not even armed for motion detection. Previous lithium batteries of other brands in the same camera last about a year.

Good battery

We go through a lot of AA batteries (and we do use rechargeable batteries in some devices), so I was really excited to try these. So far, I have used them in game controllers, flashlights, remote controls, mini surveillance cameras, and in a portable shaver. Since getting these batteries and starting to use them three weeks ago, I haven't had to replace a single battery yet. This was most surprising in the game controllers where I typically have to put new batteries in about every two weeks. But even with consistent use, the batteries are still at nearly full capacity! These lithium batteries are also much lighter than alkaline batteries, and that is going to be a nice upgrade to the HAM radio I carry when I go hiking. Another REALLY nice feature of lithium batteries is that they are not prone to leaking and damaging devices if they are left in them, especially if the device is kept in a car where it can get extremely hot in the summer. These batteries are about 2.5 times more expensive than name-brand Alkaline batteries, and so far they have lasted at least twice as long. If they truly do last 7 times longer than an Alkaline batteries, then these lithium would be a FAR better value, especially considering that they are lighter and will not damage expensive electronics due to corrosion the way alkaline batteries often do. All in all, these batteries are an excellent buy!

Work great in blink cameras

The batteries work great compared with other brands, however, I feel misled by the Amazon description which indicates the batteries are $1.83 each for an 8-pack at $21.99, which I lazily accepted as being accurate and correct, when in fact is not correct. The batteries are actually $2.75 each !! Grrrrrr!!! So you get what you pay for, but not a good deal based on per unit cost. I bought these 3 times already before I realized the advertised per unit cost was incorrect. Not sure if it is Amazon or the supplier that is misrepresenting the per unit cost for the 8 pack.
