Volcanoes (A True Book: Earth Science) Paperback – August 7, 2009

I used this book as part of a read aloud in my classroom. There's lots of good details with graphic features and photographs to make the book very interesting for students. I used it in a 4th/5th grade classroom. The kids were very interested in the way the information was presented. Students were able to read this book independently because it was a good reading level for this grade.

My class really enjoys this book. It keeps their attention and is easy to read.

The True Books series is one of my favorite for my seven-year-old. When he was younger, I read these to him, and now we take turns reading. The books have great photos and engaging text--not too text-heavy for his age.
