NC Quick Pass Sticker Transponder – NC Toll Roads – Works in 19 States (1)

I just got my NC Quick Pass sticker yesterday, and so far, the experience has been smooth. Ordering it online was quick and easy, and it arrived faster than I expected. The instructions were simple—just stick it to your windshield and activate your account online.Setting up the account and adding funds was straightforward, and I like that you can manage everything from the website or app. I haven’t had a chance to test it on the road yet, but I’m looking forward to skipping toll booth lines and saving a bit on tolls.So far, I’m impressed with how simple the process has been. I’ll update my thoughts after I use it a few times!

I was headed out on a trip north in the land of toll roads (WVA, Penn, Ohio) and wanted a way to get through the booths quickly and with minimum cost. Since I live in NC, it made more sense to get one from my home state than order one from another state. I got it shipped quickly, had it registered the next day and flew through toll booths in multiple states with a minimum of bother. Highly recommend for road trips!

I was surprised when my transponder arrived that I had actually ordered 3 to a package. I didn’t really need three but I should have paid closer attention to the price per quantity. The transponders came rapidly and were easy to activate using my existing NC account. If you even only occasionally use the toll roads I still think they are worthwhile.

This was the easiest transaction! The trickiest part was identifying which of the several codes supplied I needed to use to register the pass on the website.

Works now but I already had an account for years with my cars in their system and paid through the website when I owed a balance. I was forced to create a completely new quickpass account, with my same exact same email too, in order to add transponders. Support only gave me scripted responses on how to add them but those did not work. Sad we need a sticker to use tolls when they just scan your license plate anyway and know you are traveling on a toll road. Don’t waste your time spending money on these. Get the free one by creating a new account online.

The transponder arived the next morning. I logged onto EZ Pass and activated it, then attached to the inside of my windshield. I used later in the afternoon and when I checked the EZ Pass transactions a couple days later the new transponder had been detected. It worked the way it should!

Used for trip SC to PA. Covered tolls going through Charlotte and in WVa. No need to stop & pay at toll booths — it automatically picks up your info as you drive through toll gates.

Nothing really reviewable about the product other than it works perfectly, but I will say that it felt really good to order it in the afternoon and then wake up to it in my mailbox
