We purchased the VTech IS8128-11 for our office, and it has exceeded expectations. The range is outstanding — we can move throughout the warehouse and parking area without losing signal (close to the 2300 ft claim). The sound quality is crystal clear, and the answering machine works seamlessly. The Bluetooth Connect-to-Cell feature is especially useful, allowing us to pair with cell phones so staff don’t miss important business calls. The call blocking option helps keep unwanted calls out. Highly recommend this phone system for both home and small business use.

Bought these to replace phones in our home. They work really well Would buy again. Haven't had any problems with them.

I love the look and I put this in the office of the self storage facility that I work at and manage. It’s a little bit confusing when you have the home button on the base is not lit up like the one on the handset which should be a little bit bigger as well and if you pick up the handset, it makes a high-pitched sound so you have to either decide if you want to use the base as the speakerphone or the handset. I love the fact that the range works well and the voice quality is nice. I just wish they improved on the base and instead of home they should say dial or on and off something to not confuse elderly people because my relief Manager had a hard time.

I was replacing my ancient Panasonic phone, which started to fail. Since I was happy with it, I initially purchased another Panasonic phone, but the range was terrible; it would quit when I walked into another room 30 feet from the base. I returned it. The VTech arrived a few days ago. I was immediately impressed with the sound quality & volume - very important for me due to my substantial hearing loss. The pairing with my cell phone & the fast copying of my contacts list are great features. At first, I charged the handsets only until the three bars on the indicators showed that they were fully charged. Then, the first bar went blank after less than one day, so I thought the batteries didn't hold a charge for very long. Then, I reviewed the instructions which said to charge the batteries for 12 hours. After I did that, the three bars are still lit after more than 24 hours. I think the complaints about the batteries not holding a charge are because people are doing what I did - charging only until they see three bars on the handsets. The directions should stress the importance of charging for 12 hours, at least for the first charge. The batteries in this phone are probably the type that need to be "conditioned" before they'll hold a charge.

I got this to simplify the cell to land line connection. Unfortunately the answering machine does not work when in cell phone mode, nor was my ringer choice. It seems like it has a lot of good features and i like you can run off the land line and the cell, but i was looking to simplyfy my Jack2Cell setup (which bluetooths to a cell and the phone plugs into the blutooth device)

This is a great solution for a multi-story house! You can set it up for 2 cell phones and no longer have to run around looking for a phone when someone calls you because you can have one at hand in every room. The sound quality isn't great, but still, it's really worth the convenience of having phones everywhere just like when we had landlines.

Our previous VTech system worked very well, but this one has had problems from the beginning. Calls frequently drop in the middle of conversations, and my husband cannot call our home from his cell phone because the system does not recognize his number. The answering system also does not display the caller’s phone number, so we have to dig through the call log just to figure out who tried to reach us. Overall, the system is not user‑friendly. The call‑blocking feature works only about 90% of the time, but it’s still the main reason we haven’t switched back to our old system.

VTech IS8102 Additional Handset for IS8121 Series: Item was presented as Used - Like New. I would easily say this item was 100% perfect in appearance and so far, functionality. The only thing I noticed, was the face of the phone in a NEW system, would have had a thin plastic sheet protecting the screen. This small note does not distract from the description, and I am totally happy with the cost, handling, and extremely fast shipping. It works exactly like the rest of the matching phones, easy to use, and sounds GREAT. Happy happy joy joy!

Funciona muy bien. Se debe de cargar los auriculares por 12 horas según el instructivo, pero con 8 horas se cargaron las pilas por completo. Tiene opción para dejar mensaje propio, yo no lo active, pero esta la opción y puede almacenar hasta 1000 números según el instructivo. Tiene altavoz y según leí se puede conectar por Bluetooth al celular, pero todavía no lo pruebo. Se puede cambiar el idioma en el menú a español, pero el instructivo esta en ingles. También tiene bloqueador de llamadas.

Very good coverage for my unit just under 2000 sq ft. Very good sound quality.

No longer have a landline but can answer my Cell using hand’s sets. Some time a delay in connecting and you can ordinate a call.
