KD ROM Knee Brace: Hinged Post-Op Knee Brace for Arthritis, ACL, MCL, and PCL Injury – Optimal Support for Rehabilitation

This is the best hinged brace I have EVER owned. I have had multiple knee injuries and a few surgeries. I've been wearing hinged braces since they started gaining popularity in the early 2000's. Being 6ft, I LOVE that the length is adjustable and independently on all 4 arms. It is also very comfortable, definitely what I needed while I wait for my MRI.

Really good brace easy to figure it out how to use it I really like it very comfortable I actually got 2 blinking I can use both in the same time but is impossible so I have to return one filling pretty sad but the good think is unisex you can use left to right so that is a good thingI recommend this 100%

Good brace for post ACL / meniscus repair… that being said, if you are shorter it may not work. I am 5’2 and it is constantly slipping down and it I can’t seem to adjust it tight enough without being too tight. At its shortest it is from a few inches above my ankle to mid to upper thigh.

This brace is so easy to use right out of the box. I bought this one to replace an Ossur brace I had been fitted for as a post-op ACL reconstruction brace. (The Ossur brace was tearing up my leg and leaving it bruised and one of the straps was going right across one of my incision sites.)•THIS brace has super comfortable padding - it almost feels like memory foam and is very breathable. It is easily adjustable for various heights (I am 5’6”) and it has two “sliders” for the lower and upper areas of the brace.•THIS brace also has easy to read and set ROM (flexion and extension) dials. Just pull the tab and slide to your doctor’s recommended setting. The red lock/unlock button is also very easy to use.The brace comes with a shoulder strap. I have no idea why you’d need or want to use a shoulder strap with a leg brace, but if you use it? Please send me pics. 😉

I bought it for a family member and its held up so far.

HUGE design flaw. There are bolts on the upper inner and outer thighs for the shoulder straps. These have the removable plastic triangle attachments that would go to the strap.These problem is that even with the triangle piece off, the bolt rubs the inner thigh with every step. The bolt is also not removable. This is an issue when you need to wear shorts due to NMES during PT, comfort, and weather conditions. Just feels awful and could make your skin rawReturning due to oversight of design

While it takes a little bit of work to get on and adjusted properly, overall it is easy to use and adjust. The length can be adjusted as well as the width to fit a wide range of leg sizes. Padding is acceptable and fairly comfortable. Once adjusted properly the hinge does a good job of restricting movement to the settings you select and they are easy to adjust at any time if needed. Being mostly of an open design it doesn't get too hot except for where the pads contact your leg.
