Very convenient; NO HOSE needed!
This tool seems to work well based on limited use. It’s heavier than I expected which I hope means that the guts are high quality. I was able to drive the brads that came with the set into 3 different types of wood very easily without splitting fairly narrow wood. I also used it to secure some loose trim with ¾ inch brads. There were a couple instances when the brads weren’t sunk flush into the trim. I believe that was when I didn’t have the nosepiece pressed down firmly. You need to have good pressure on the nose piece when firing the tool.I thought this was the bare tool (no battery), but it did come with one 4 Ah battery and a charger. I tried inserting 2 different generic Dewalt-compatible batteries and a couple name-brand Dewalt® batteries in the tool. Both of the name brand batteries fit very well. One of the generic batteries, which has worked fine with Dewalt® tools, didn’t fit this tool at all. The other generic battery fit with some extra effort. Since these generic batteries work with my Dewalt® tools, I don’t know why there are problems with the fit with this nailer.I like that there are two firing modes. You can set it to fire singly with each pull of the trigger, or set it to “bump” mode where you hold the trigger down and the tool will fire every time you bump the nose piece against the work surface. It is very easy to switch modes by pressing a button on the inside of the handle. I like the placement of these buttons. They’re a little tricky to get to inside the handle, but I don’t think I will hit them accidentally. It seems to take a moment for the tool to fire the brad after you pull the trigger. It just seemed to me that there was a delay between pressing the trigger and when the brad was actually fired. Another bit of information is that, according to the Instruction Manual, the longest brad this tool will shoot is 1-1/4” long. Another thing I’ve noticed is that there is no way to adjust the force with which this drives the brads. Short brads are driven with the same force as long brads.I am confident that this tool will come in very handy. I have a bunch of trim that wasn’t installed securely and this tool lets me go around the house and fasten those loose pieces without having to get out a noisy compressor, a long hose, and my pneumatic brad nailer. I just grab the tool, a battery, load some brads, then start shooting. I have no idea if this would stand up to heavy duty use but it will be just fine for what I need. Time will tell if the 1-1/4” limit on brad length becomes a problem. So far, so good.

Stops after 30 nails
This is a well built substantial feeling tool. It uses Dewalt batteries, which is nice. For the first 30 or so nails it felt like a really good value. Then it stopped nailing. I am familiar with this type of tool, and know that it needs to be reloaded when empty. I thoroughly examined the mechanism to look for fouled nails. It was clear and clean. The tool simply stopped firing nails. Needles to say it has been returned. I would not recommend this brad nailer.

Really Good Tool
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't recommend this more highly. It drives the brads in with no problems. It came With a battery and it works fine with my DeWalt batteries as well. That is why I ordered myself this nailer after all. It fires fast enough for me and I expect for you as well. I hope this helped you✔️ Thanks

No depth adjustment
This is more of a homeowner toy than a professional tool. Every pneumatic nailer I’ve ever use allowed you to adjust the depth of fire for different materials and situations. This gun has no way of increasing the power of the shot for harder materials or to set the nail deeper to allow for filler to hide the brad head. Firing into 3/8 pine over 3/4 pine, it only just barely set the head flush on a full battery. If you’re firing a few hundred brads doing trim work, get ready to follow every one up with a nail set. Otherwise it does fire quickly, works right out of the box( though there’s no case to store it in). I wish I could recommend this tool to professionals but I’d say skip this one

Wow! This thing is solid
I love how solid this is. It works perfectly. The battery life is really excellent. The nails penetrate without a problem on regular wood. It's quick. It's efficient. I did a really great job on it. I put it to use right away. It's easy to use because the instructions are clearing simple which is the bonus if you know what I mean and I'm sure you do, they did a good job
