Fabric strength
The fabric is not strong enough for the velcro. The velcro pulls holes in the fabric when you unfasten the velcro.

These are a Godsend. I'm caregiver to my mom, and she has edema among other things. Her legs HAVE to be wrapped. Compression socks she hated, she pulls them down. So I tried wrapping in gauze and Ace and she was scratching & drawing blood, too warm, skin was too dry. Then I found the small version of these and they are a miracle. I been using them for about 6 months. I was very excited to see a wider version. They are perfect. I don't have to use 2 of the other ones now. I only need 1 of these bandages.they are full coverage and they let the air flow through which keeps her skin cool. I don't use gauze anymore either, just these bandages. You can adjust the compression just by pulling tighter. Each end has Velcro and it's nice and strong. When I wash them, I close off the ends so the Velcro is not showing then I wash them in a lingerie bag, otherwise they would get tangled in the washer. Thru wash perfectly. These are the answer if you have to wrap legs. I'm getting ready to order a set of these wider ones just to have on hand. I change the bandages ever day so I like to keep a stock of them. I can't praise these enough. Either width is useful but the wider width is more coverage, less bandages. Wonderful product .the value is priceless for me but the price is very good for what you're getting
