The best balloon model to be found!
I purchased the large blue/white balloon to use as a prop at our local Dickens Christmas Fair when discussing the ballooning with visitors. I was looking for a balloon model that resembled a Victorian hot air balloon and, after viewing many other models and manufacturers, chose this one, since there are no other models out there as detailed and beautiful as this one.The Authentic Models replica is very well constructed and quite detailed -- it has hand-knotted netting over the balloon bag, a wicker basket complete with ballast bags, and a small pennant. It turned out to be a great conversation starter!The balloon comes packed in a separate cardboard box that includes a custom styrofoam form that wraps around and protects the balloon while being stored. The balloon bag itself is rigid, with the basket suspended below it by ropes. (The balloon will not stand on its own and must be hung.) For display purposes, I purchased a wall-mounted Panacea 85014 Plant Bracket (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001D1X1HO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_17) which complements the balloon perfectly.After the Christmas Fair ends, I plan to display this balloon at home and, perhaps, purchase another one (or two) smaller balloons to hang with it. (NOTE: The smaller balloons do not have the little ballast bags.)

Whimsical perfection
I've been wanting a handful of these balloons for years and finally got some. They are absolutely stunning little pieces of art. Tiny little knots connecting the mesh over the balloon and an adorable little wicker basket underneath. Exactly what I'd hope they would be. Couldn't be happier and so look forward to getting my little collection hung up and displayed in my home. I know they will be a conversation piece!

SPECTACULAR!!!!
I LOVE these little gas balloons!!! Even the vent and rip panel lines through the appendix are accurate… they just need to be a bit longer ;) The envelope’s net is beautifully woven, and the envelope’s coloration looks like fabric. I am buying many more! Well done!

I love them. They’ve added the perfect touch of whimsy to my son’s nursery. Bit overpriced but I think they’re beautiful.

Very disappointing
I expected to find a much larger hot air balloon and shocked to see the tiny sample really! Not expected or appreciated by Amazon.I downloaded the return form only to discover we would have to pay for shipping!!! What’s up with that?? I didn’t see any specific comments about return and shipping charges.,

Adorable
I don't know exactly what makes this model so lovable, but it is. I thought it was cute and desired this balloon ever since I saw it in a store. Perfect in every detail.
