Easy to read. Durable. Affordable.

I work out of my truck so my space is limited, that being said the scale is nice and more durable than my other plastic one but it's a little heavy so it tends to slide when drawing field notes. I know it's not meant to be used as a straight edge but it's the quickest way to keep my notes to scale.

This thing is amazing, useful and VERY solid. As in: if you accidentally drop this thing, it's gonna be loud enough to ring your bells!

It's VERY STURDY, you can tell it's high-quality aluminum just by the feel of it, and the marks are very legible . I'm really excited to use this for class. The ONLY down side to this ruler is that it doesn't tell you what side of the ruler is in what units, yet most of the rulers I wanted to buy did not have the units labeled. I guess I'll have to figure it out and ask a classmate. Aside from that, HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you buy this !!! :D

As a plans examiner, I had to have my own set of rulers and scales and this was the best I could find! Sturdy, doesn’t scratch easily, and sticks out from all the cheaply plastic ones in my office. Great first ruler for your Olán checking tasks!

Much better than the typical plastic ones. Would highly recommend getting a metal one like this. Worth every penny.

Use this daily for reviewing city plans. The ruler is firm and not sharp around edges. Scale is accurate as far as I can tell. Color is distinctive. My only complaints are it makes a loud ping when it taps against anything sturdy and you can't easily clean off marker stains.

Basically is black coated with its writing in white make a lot easier on the set of plans
